+ 2 moreThe experience was miserable. I am still currently having work done so the screen porch will finally be complete. I have never had such a bad experience. Please beware of Jay Johnson and whatever company name he is working under.
Description of Work: I hired Jay Johnson to build a screen porch on my existing deck. He framed the project and installed the roof and shingles. With only 1/4 of the project done we gave him another 30% down to continue working while we were on vacation. After accepting the additional 30% he had deposited 3/4 of the money owed on the contract and he disappeared. He would not return my phone calls or e-mails for over a month. After further researching Jay Johnson on the internet I found numerous complaints from past customers. All saying they had the exact same experience and I did. Apparently he changes his company name numerous times. He has an amazing website for each new company because his wife, Christy, is a web page builder. He has no "address" so you will never be able to track him down. Only a PO Box that changes as often as his company name.
