DOGWOOD CONSTRUCTION

My home had several areas where the wood was rotten. Brian recommended Hardy Plank to repair the exterior. I was not familiar with the product and after researching was thrilled with the recommendation. Brian and his crew tore off the old siding which was in very bad shape. Replaced that with the Hardy Plank. He replaced a window ledge that had been eaten off by a squirrel. He also replaced all of the molding with upgraded molding. He hid my cable and telephone wires, which had been an ugly mess, by enclosing them in. He repaired water damage to another part of the house and replaced beams that were not visible, but had rotted. This discovery was a surprise to Brian and to me! He reconstructed a bay window that had rot and put Hardy Plank on that. He repaired the door and door jam to the crawl space, replaced gutter and repaired several other areas that had rot. All was painted to match the rest of my house. The electricity had to be disconnected while the work was being done. Brian plugged my refrigerator into his generator to keep it cold while the work was being done. I had not even thought of that detail. When the work was completed and it was completed in a timely matter all was cleaned and my house had a new look. In addition the rotten wood was totally repaired even the rot that Brian did not know was there upon first inspection. Any additions or changes were discussed as well as price in advance. There were no surprises. The cost was a bit higher than the original estimate because of the discovery of unsuspected damage. The additional cost was well within reason.
