DESIGN UPHOLSTERY

It was great. They finished it in one day. I walked in and they took and I was able to come back the next morning to pick it up.

I called Design Upholstery after finding them on Angie's List. I sent them an email with a pic of the two rockers and they gave me a rough estimate of what it would cost to have them reupholstered and how much fabric I would need. I gave them a call the next day and they were able to tell me of a good place to shop for fabric -- which saved me from having to drive all over Charlotte! After I bought the fabric, I took the chairs in and they were ready within a week and a half! They did a really good job. My only quibble with them is that I found that the arms of the rockers had a few scratches that weren't there when I dropped them off.

Mike and the staff we extremely helpful. They fixed one cushion and had it back to me the next day, so my husband and I could try it out before fixing the others. Their work was of great quality and I will definitely be back with more work for them!

Excellent. A new employee had checked me out and mistakenly charged me for delivery. Within an hour, an employee called to say that I had been charged too much and asked if a check could be sent to me in the amount of the mischarged amount. Everyone was helpful, the chair looks great, and it was done in about a week. I'd return again.

Excellent, quick and excellent quality. I stopped by to see the shop and pick out the fabric for the chair. I had a good idea what I wanted and they had a fabulous selection of fabric. The fabric was ordered and arrived very quickly. They did an excellent job of re-upholstering the chair and ottoman. It's just beautiful and now my favorite chair in the house. I would definitely use them again.

I talked with Mr. Polly, then emailed him a picture of the antique wood loveseat with fabric seat. He quoted me a price of $125 for labor I already had the fabric. I took the loveseat in on Monday and it was finished by Thursday! They did a great job and it looks wonderful. The wood is old and dry and and the seat filled with old, nasty 'stuffing.' Now it looks like new (or a 'new' antique) and I couldn't be more pleased. I really appreciate their work and recommend them.

Worked with Sabrina and Mike, both were very helpful. Sabrina was helpful with fabric, Mike was very prompt in returning calls. Got my work done in the time that was promised.

I called Design Upholstery to get an estimate of the cost of the re-uphostery. I was quoted $200-$225. I delivered the ottoman and the fabric that I wanted them to use. They told me I did not have enough fabric to cover the ottoman in the same style that it was already covered, but that they could cover it in a different style. I agreed. They kept the ottoman for almost three weeks and then called for me to pick it up. They charged $225 and did an excellent job.

From the very beginning it was a very nice experience. They gave me an estimate over the phone and she offered me their location and other places where I could pick out the material. When I found the material I let them know and they picked up the couch and said it would be about a week. They beat the deadline by one day and called me and asked when they could drop off the couch. The delivery people were very nice and professional. The quality of work is excellent and I can't find anything wrong. When I would call them they would have an answer for me right away or get back to me promptly.

It was such an easy experience. I was able to approve the work before they started. It is perfect.

They did a fabulous job. I highly recommend their service.

Very pleased with the results. Gone is the floral print & back is the manly one. :) Plus now my boy can jump on it all he wants! Price mentioned does not include fabric.

Great experience. All staff were very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The work they did for me is beautiful. I would recommend and will use for further upholstery needs.

THE WORK WAS FINISHED WITHIN 2 WEEKS. THE WORKMANSHIP WAS EXCELLENT-- MUCH NICER THAN THE SAMPLE I PROVIDED.

GOOD PHONE COURTESY. QUOTED ME A PRICE AND HONORED IT WHEN I CAME TO THE SHOP. THE STAFF STOPPED THEIR ACTIVITIES AND IMMEDIATELY SEWED ON THE LOOSE BUTTONS. VERY IMPRESSIVE AND A HUGE TIME SAVER FOR ME. I WOULD USE THEM FOR ANY OTHER REPAIR WORK THAT I NEED IN THE FUTURE.

THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL, QUICK AND COURTEOUS. SINCE THIS IS OUR FIRST TIME REPLACING THE FOAM INSERTS ITS HARD TO ASSESS HOW THEY COMPARE ON PRICE. SEEMED A BIT HIGH, BUT WORK WAS DONE CORRECTLY AND IN A TIMELY MANNER. WOULD RECOMMEND THEM.

THIS COMPANY WAS RECOMMENDED TO ME BY THREE SOURCES IN ADDITION TO ANGIE'S LIST. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB!!

EXCELLENT, BEAUTIFUL WORK, FINISHED WITHIN 1 DAY. EMPLOYEES, OWNERS EASY TO WORK WITH. VERY POLITE. THE STOREFRONT IS NOT VERY ATTRACTIVE, BUT ITS COMPENSATED BY THE QUALITY OF WORK PERFORMED. YOU CAN SEE THE ACTUAL UPHOLSTERY BEING DONE.
