The entire process was outstanding. I sent pictures of my shoe, they verified they could resole them, sent the shoes via email given the traffic and distance (1.5 hours), got them back the next week and they looked brand new. Saved me over $100 from having to buy a new pair! Would definitely recommend.

This was our first visit to Dean's Shoe Repair. The boots are a gift that were handmade from Guatemala. They had a higher heel than my husband desired so we brought them in to be cut down as much as possible for comfort. Upon picking them up and trying them on, my husband noticed an awkward twist in the sole that caused an uncomfortable rocking of his foot while walking. This was NOT a result of anything done at Dean's Shoe Repair, but rather an issue with the original workmanship. However, Moe offered to try to fix the issue. Since my husband knew he would not wear them in that condition, he decided to leave the boots again to see if anything could be done. When picking them up the second time, he found that they were much better and certainly wearable and Moe & Holly did not charge for the extra work--which again was not their problem to fix. In addition to their generosity in addressing an issue they had no obligation to address, they are timely, clean, organized, friendly and professional. We will undoubtedly use them for all of our shoe repair needs in the future.

Great! Far exceeded expectations!!! I expected to leave the bag. I expected to pay for the repair too. The folks at Dean's Shoe Repair were welcoming. They stitched up the bag right then and there! And they didn't charge me! Total time in shop was less than 5-10 minutes. That's the way to gain customers for life! You can be sure next time a pair of my shoes need repairing, I'm taking them to Dean's.

The process was excellent. I lived about an hour away from the shoe store with no traffic, so I wanted to ship the shoes to the store. Great communication with the owners, they were super friendly and ensured a high quality job. When I got the shoes back, they looked PERFECT (and reconditioned the leather), they comped the return shipping (which they did not have to do), and ensured I was completely satisfied before payment. Loved the transaction and would highly recommend them to anyone.

While I usually have to leave shoes for repair, the owner fixed the heel in 5 minutes while I waited!! This is not the first time that he has done a repair for me on site very quickly if the circumstances allowed. While I know not every repair can be done this quickly, I appreciate that he did it for me while I waited since he knew it could be done fast. I go out of my way to Dean's because of the excellent work they do. I do not go to the uptown shoe repair that is convenient since I would rather wait longer if needed for this shop to do my repairs. This is the best place I've ever gone to have shoes repaired and I highly recommend them!!

Before coming to Dean's, I had visited a different shoe repair place that was close to my house. This other place was quite frustrating and couldn't fix any of my items. I took them to Dean's as a last resort. As soon as I walked in the door, I knew that I had come to the right place. I left my shoes to be repaired, but they fixed the zippers on my items immediately. I was out the door in less than 5 minutes. The best part is that since I was leaving my shoes, they didn't even charge me for the zipper repairs. This place know how to treat customers. It is obvious, by the shear number of items that they were in the process of repairing that Charlotte customers know not to go anywhere else.

Boots look brand new...they had also been polished when I picked them up.

I will never go to another shoe repair as long as Dean's is still in business. I was in a bind and needed my shoes quickly. They worked with me no questions asked. They greet you the moment you walk in the door and customer service is great! Everyone is super friendly.

When I walked in they greeted me and asked about my shoe problem. There was another customer in the shop at the same time and it was obvious by their personal relationship that he had been a customer at Dean's for many years. It is a family owned and operated comany. They were quick and generous with what they charged me to fix my shoe. They do what it takes to take care of their customers. I will definitely be going there again!

Excellent customer service, was going out of town, and they made sure shoes ready by close of business. It was a pleasure and I will not go elsewhere. Just like the hometown service we all want and is so hard to find, like the good ole days. Old Fashion shoe shop that is there for the customer. Kind courteous, prompt and my shoes look like new

I have motorcycle chaps and the zipper broke. I spoke to a few shops that they said the entire zipper and seams had to be replaced which would cost about $80 to $100. I bought the chaps a few years back for 150 so I was not looking forward to either fixing them for the cost or replacing them. I called Dean's Shoe Repair and they said they could fix it. All it took was a new zipper head (sorry don't know the terms) and a realignment of the zipper. He did it in his shop, it took about 10 min and best off all it only cost $25. He also sticked a loose thread to boot. Now I have my motorcycle chaps which work like new. I was very impressed with there service and I will go back if I have any shoe issues.
