DAVID WEEKLEY HOMES

We are protesting via permit outside of the DW Homes model. They told us that we should expect to hear back from them in response to our proposed remedy- they have yet to respond.
DW Homes constructed a three car garage 19 feet from our living space. Our community contains HOA rules to protect the value of our homes. This detached garage, with it's close proximity to our living space, now creates a view of a 22 foot wall from 8 vantage points inside of our home as well as the boxed in aspects on the side and back of the home.This is in sharp contrast to the HOA rules. The garage was classified as an "accessory building" and not as a garage. Typical spacing for a garage is 26 feet from adjacent property lines. This new garage is 5 feet from the property line.
We have been met  with complete disrespect from DW Homes eventhough, they are violating the HOA rules and devaluing the value of our home, we continue to be told that we have to be reasonable.   

BE AWARE OF DAVID WEEKLEY AND DON'T LET THE SALES AGENTS AND THEIR MODEL HOMES FOOL YOU! THEY ARE GREAT AT PUTTING ON THE CHARM AND PROMISING ANYTHING TO MAKE A SALE, BUT AFTER THE COMPANY HAS YOUR MONEY IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO GET PROMPT QUALITY SERVICE. I HAD PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED A COMPLAINT TO THE BBB, PRIOR TO CONTACTING ANGIE'S LIST, BUT NONE OF MY ISSUES WERE RESOLVED FROM HAVING DONE THIS.
