He used to inspect the work of other plumbers in a professional capacity, so it was not surprising that his work was technically, well, perfect. He would clearly explain what he was going to do, and one time showed us how to resolve the problem ourselves without needing to use him, making him a technically solid HVAC/Plumber (anything mechanical) who is also a decent guy.

Matthew was prompt, professional and personable. Not only did he efficiently complete the need to repair quickly, he noticed another capped off pipe that had developed a slow leak and he quickly repaired that one as well.

Matthew arrived promptly and with a smile. He listened to our concerns, inspected the plumbing issues, provided real explanations about why we were having issues, then he wrote up an estimate that gave us options. The original plan was to listen, nod and go for the cheapest option but the prices and time required to complete the repairs was too good to say “no”. Everything we had hoped to get done in the near future was completed in less than 24 hours. We even replaced the water heater!! It was such a positive experience that we started looking for other things Matthew could fix or replace. Needless to say, we found more work for him to do and look forward to his arrival next week. (Our choice for next week — the company offered next day service.)

Mr. Jordan diagnosed he problem over the phone immediately and said he could get there the next morning first thing. He quoted me an estimate over the phone that seemed reasonable. He arrived ahead of time and completed the work very fast. He helped me ensure everything was working before he left and the price came in under the quote due to the work required. Zero mess and he helped me understand how I could make access to the tap much more efficient in the future.

Reid provided fast, reliable service and explained everything in detail. Our water heater broke on Monday night and he came the next morning. He even replaced our supply valve in the bathroom when I noticed the hot water wasn't running fully. Reid was attentive and provided information before we made a decision to do any work.

Excellent-beyond expectations. Reid communicated exactly when he would be here and immediately diagnosed and fixed the problem that was causing water infiltration (that a competitor could not). His company was efficient and very reasonable and we will be using them again.

We just purchased a townhouse in Charlotte and were doing some renovations. Our existing water heater was over 10 years old and located in the attic. We didn't want any surprise catastrophic failures occurring, so we asked Reid to replace the water heater and also check out our HVAC unit to make sure it was still in good order.
We were able to schedule this visit at our convenience, as it was not an emergency situation. They arrived promptly as promised and did both jobs in a neat and professional manner, explaining all that they were doing and why.
My only gripe is that I did not see the coupon on Angie's List for 10% off jobs over $350 until I went back on to leave this review. That would have saved me $190 on this job!

I quoted these jobs with 4 other plumbers from angies A rated list and DW Jordan's price was the only one I would consider reasonable. Two of the other plumbers that I contacted quoted prices that were 2x to 4x times higher!. My call was responded to by the owner within 24 hours and was scheduled within 1 to 2 days out while six of the other eleven top rated plumbers that I called from angies (A rated) list did not bother to respond at all. I think they did a great job on both projects, I think they are a very honest company and I would readily use them again and recommend them.

I had a clogged drain pipe down in a wall. My air conditioner condensate uses this drain so I was going to have to turn the air conditioning off until the drain was cleared. I called Mr. Jordan and described the symptoms and my failed attempts to remove the clog. I can generally clear most problems like this myself however this clog was beyond the ability of the small drain auger I have. Mr. Jordan responded quickly and cleared the pipe. He was skilled, knowledgeable, friendly, and responsive and I plan to call him again when I need plumbing repairs. I was impressed enough that I will recommend him to my friends. The price was very reasonable especially for a Friday evening call.

They arrived on time and were very professional. I had hot water in my shower that night for the first time in months. I felt that the price was reasonable.
One thing that I learned (as I am new to this homeowner thing): If they didn't install the water heater, don't ask them to "look" at it. If you buy a new water heater from them, then they will come and service it. Perhaps if I had asked them to come over to address the issue specifically, they may have done it, but since they were there to do the faucet, that is what they did.

It went great. We were in the middle of having the tile removed and replaced in the bathroom and the tile installer couldn't figure out how to get the faucet fittings off. I called Reid at DR Plumbing and he was able to come right over and remove the faucet and also took the time to help the tile guy with questions on the removal of the toilet. I appreciated Reid being able to come over on such short notice and not charging a emergency fee. I will be using DR Plumbing to install some other faucets in our other bathroom as soon as the granite is installed. I was really impressed with this company and their professionalism .

I am located in Seattle, WA trying to sell a house in Charlotte. As part of the sale, I needed the HVAC system checked. Being all the way across the country, I was worried about finding a reputable company that was trustworthy enough to perform the service without oversight. After reading the reviews here on Angie's List, I decided on DR Jordan. When I called, Reid listened carefully to my needs and my request. He explained everything that would be done to check the system and laid out possible outcomes and the costs associated with those outcomes. This allowed me to go into this partnership with my eyes wide open. They went out the same day and performed the check. Fortunately everything was in working order and no additional service was needed. I had a WONDERFUL experience with DR Jordan and can't recommend them highly enough.

After noticing a leak in the bottom of my water heater, I called several plumbing companies to inquire about pricing and timeframes to install a new water heater. I was able to get quotes on the installation from each of them but nobody was able to install the water heater for nearly a week. When I called Reid, he said that he could be at my house in 30 minutes to assess the problem and after giving me his recommendation, along with talking through my options, he said that he could complete the job within the next few hours and gave me a quote to do the job for less than any of the other companies.
He installed the same heater that the other companies were recommending and did it for between $150 to $1,000 below the other quotes I received.
I would not hesitate to use Reid again for any plumbing work I have and since he is also in the heating and air business, he is on my contact list should I have any future needs.

Looked under our sink for about 5 minutes and declared we needed a new disposal. When he was fiished he went out to his truck and came in with a bill for $350. I looked on line and this disposal sells retail for under $100. So that means we paid $250 for a maximum 30 minute install! Seems to us we were overcharged!!

The water pipe burst while we were at work. We arrived home and shut the water off. I called Reid Jordan after 5:00, and he said that he would be there as soon as he could to take a look. He was at the house within an hour. Reid was professional and courteous and fixed the burst pipe in no time.
With it being around 5:00 was worried that i was going to have to go without warer for the night while trying to find someone to fix the pipe. Reid saved the day with his responsiveness.
