CROSSVILLE TILE & STONE

Tile should be in by end of week - other than hours it is a great place.  They should open Saturday morning and/or more evening hours so that the working person can make it to their shop.

I'd never remodeled before and needed help with a kitchen backsplash--all I knew from magazine pictures was that I liked the look of subway tile. The designers were great--patient, informative, creative. I got lots of advice on paint colors and other things in addition to a pretty backsplash. I left really excited. These things may be due to my naivete more than Crossville Tile itself, but I wish I would have asked if there were cheaper options. I got subway tile, but the finish I chose and the accent tile I picked were expensive. We didn't mention money at all, and I should have. High quality? Yes. Expensive? Yes. Order taking 2x as long as they said it would (5 weeks instead of 2)? Yes. I was not as impressed with the customer service. I had to chase them down to get a firm date on tile delivery and the delays. E-mails I got were in ALL CAPS, making it sound like SOMEONE IS YELLING AT YOU ABOUT PAYMENT. (Design professionals should also be aware of document design, no?). Answers to questions about timeliness of order and returns were not particularly friendly (All-Caps Guy seemed to also be Phone Guy). Overall, the design experience part of the job was excellent. The tile itself is beautiful and unique. But due to price and customer service, next time I will be shopping elsewhere.

I was a bit frustrated with the process until I went to Crossville. I met with Toni and she just made it all work. I described what I wanted and she found tile for me that fit every need. I had also purchased tile from a competitor that went out of business and Toni went through it all and helped me pick out tile that complimented the other tile I already bought. She definitely knows what she's doing and I'll keep going back to her.

WE PICKED OUR CERAMIC TILE FROM THIS STORE BECAUSE IT WAS RECOMMENDED BY OUR INSTALLER. THE DESIGNER WAS VERY HELPFUL IN THE SELECTION PROCESS. THE STORE HAD A LARGE SELECTION OF TILE, AND GOOD DISPLAYS OF THE TILE ON THE FLOOR OR WALLS.
