Cross Country Movers

On the day of my move, they called and confirmed their appointment time, then actually arrived 15 minutes early. All three men were clean cut and dressed in an cross country movers uniform. Once I got to talking to them, they were extremely personable too. Upon signing the paperwork, the clock started and the three men diligently went to work, not stopping once until my house was completely loaded up. To my surprise, they used blankets and shrink wrap to protect my furniture during the move. Once we were at the new place, each of the movers worked side by side by us, unloading each box item and putting it in our desired location. When when we changed our minds as to where we wanted something to go, they were more than happy to move the item until we were satisfied with its location. Needless to say, cross country movers was early, their employees were trustable, personable men who were dressed in uniform, and went over and beyond to help make our move as smooth as possible.

Got a call from Bob 30 minutes prior to their arrival. They showed up and got right to work. They moved steadily, seemed focused and didn't stop to talk. Two guys hauled stuff to the truck while the other packed it up carefully. They used moving blankets for the furniture. 
My wife and I helped "direct traffic" at our new place so they knew where to put stuff. They put mats down on the hardwoods and were very careful about not dinging the walls. They made sure to place my items strategically and as preferred and had all of the needed items to ensure the move was successful without any damage. All of our stuff was placed where we wanted it to be, they were steady and focused, and we woke up with no sore backs the next day. I never like to spend large sums of money, period. BUT, this was a time where I was happy to swipe the card.  I would definitely recommend cross country movers to a friend and use them again for any future moves.

In my own case, I wasn?t able to give an exact date for the move out of my house because I didn?t have a definite place-to-go-to until the last moment of the completion date. This fact didn?t faze James one bit!! He even kept me calm by assuring me that she would meet any requirement up to the last minute [I couldn?t understand how he could give such assurances when he had so many customers]. In the meantime, he arranged for all materials (boxes, bubble-wrap etc) to be delivered and kept these stocked as I used them up. I did eventually find a suitable rental house and the removals began a day before ?D-day?. The moving team were magnificent: polite, helpful, and very hard-working. They even didn?t complain when the local neighbors failed to clear street spaces for their trucks, but instead worked with me to talk neighbors into clearing enough space. When I fell behind on the wrapping my personal stuff, they just got stuck-in to doing the outstanding jobs in the most professional way. When they delivered all the stuff (furniture, garden gear, household goods etc) to the new house with such care, there wasn?t one single scratch on anything, including walls etc during the move.
