Creative Sewing and Vaccuum

I had an excellent experience. In this time of shut down Tammie, Lynn and Nancy went out of their way to make this transaction safely. I really appreciate them.

***BAD FAMILY BUSINESS****DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS FAMILY**** I called to ask what their turnaround was for machine service and I was told about 5-7 business days. I then took my machine in to be serviced and then went on vacation for a week. When I got back I called to see if it was ready and no one answered and their message said they were now on vacation for 9 business days which meant I would not get my machine back for 2.5 -3 weeks at the earliest. I use this machine for business and lost a lot of business over this. *****WHEN I SPOKE TO THE OWNER HE SAID BECAUSE I LEFT A 1-STAR REVIEW HE WOULD NOT BE SERVICING MY MACHINE!!!***** He said they had their closing posted on the door and on Facebook like I was supposed to go searching for information I was completely unaware even existed. Never once on the phone or when I dropped my machine off did they tell me they were closing. When I spoke to Barry, the owner of the Charlotte store, he knew about everything and did not apologize until I explained everything to him. I was upset but did not cuss or call names even though he decided to be spiteful and not service my machine due to the review. If one had good customer service one would have been calling me to apologize, not answering the phone acting as if nothing has ever happened. After I explained my story to him, which he already knew all about, he gave a very insincere apology with a "BUT it was posted on the store door and on Facebook." If he had treated me with good customer service and been apologetic right off the bat and turned it around into a positive experience I would have changed my review because I understand we all are human and make mistakes, but instead, he handled the situation in the poorest way possible. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND POOR MORALS TO BE SPITEFUL!

The machine was serviced and ready within time frame promised. The cost of the service was very reasonable as well. The main guy there is very friendly and makes sure every question is answered. He asked if I wanted to trade my machine in and did not pressure me when I declined.

We were pleased with how willing they were to let us bring the vacuum back in and service it. Because we had had the vacuum only 3 days when the problem occurred, they were gracious enough to not stick us with a service charge. They were pleasant and professional with their interactions with my husband. Thank you for being a business that is not too busy to help those customers that have already purchased!

Creative told that me that the motor in the power wand was burned out and was not worth repairing. I appreciated Creative's honest and free evaluation.

I went in looking at Brother Embroidery machines and was led to the highest end, all the bells and whistles, expensive machine, even though I asked to see and pointed at a mid-range machine. She was good about answering questions as long as they were directed at the correct machine. Very willing to call me if they got a used machine, but when I asked the price, it was higher than I would have paid for the same machine on amazon.com for a new one. The ladies in the store seemed anxious about the boss, but he had to be consulted about everything. I chose to pay that kind of price for a sewing machine at a more responsive location.

Diagnosis indicated vacuum beyond repair. Good call.

I took my sewing machine to Creative Sewing on 21st May 2014. The assistants in the shop were not very welcoming or forth coming with what a service actually involved for that cost at that time. They quoted me $125 for the service and said that they would call me letting me know the cost of the foot connection repair when the repairman had looked at the machine. As I needed the machine functioning properly I left it with them. I called the shop on Friday 27th June to find out what was happening with the machine. I was told the service man was on vaction and not back until the Monday. I asked if I should call back then and the assistant said and quot;Oh no he will be very busy with customers that day. He will call you.and quot; I thought I was a customer. Having not heard, I called again on Wednesday 9th July. Again a very brisk attitude from the assistant having looked for the machine proceeded to tell me that one service man had thought the other had looked at it and consequently no-one had looked at it. I wasn't sure how this was my problem but was assured that someone would look at it as soon as they had finished their current job and call me. No apology. Friday 11th July I went into the the shop as I felt I had had enough and would take the machine elsewhere. Again no pleasent greeting. The assistant took my receipt and headed out back to look for my machine, I said if it had not been looked at I would take it anyway. About 5 minutes pass, the other assistant at this time is bending over backwards to offer help with anything the other customer requires. I wander over to the back of the shop to see what is happening to find the assistant wandering around not able to find my machine. I actually have to ask what is the problem and can she not find it? She gives me another brisk reply about it not being where it should be, then she discovers it to the right of the cashiers counter. I ask why no one has called. I am then shown 'called 27th June' and told that was when they called - I said and quot;That was when I calledand quot; and she said and quot;Well I'm not going to argue with you but why would we put called at the top?and quot; - and quot;Because I calledand quot; I said. The machine had been repaired. The other assistant comes back in from helping the other customer and says and quot;Yes, I was expecting you in before nowand quot; - I ask and quot;Why when I hadn't had a call or any communication from them since the day it was left with them?and quot; (7 weeks ago). Until I actually expressed my dissapointment at the way I had been served there was not an apology, only waffling about them not calling unless there was an issue or big repairs - apparently even when the machine is ready there is no communication. Clearly my seriousness as a seamstress was not on the right level to use this facility and neither was my money good enough to warrant friendly, courteous service. I have lived in Charlotte for 6 years and have not been served so poorly in that entire time.

My Mom has thoroughly enjoyed the quilting classes. The instructor is fabulous. She is very helpful and knowledgeable. Actually, everyone is helpful and knowledgeable. Looking forward to her next class.

Clark's did an outstanding work for a very reasonable price and they were responsive and extremely nice. Would recommend to anyone.

The outcome was wonderful but it took a long time for the work to be completed. They were honest and friendly. I had to be proactive about calling them because they didn't call me.
