They were excellent. It was a horrible day and they came and worked the whole day. They did a great job. My daughter plays on it a whole day. They worked really well.

We bought a new swing set during the Memorial day sale and from our experience with the sales person through the install, everything went really, really well. We had asked that they hold off our install until we got the letter from our HOA approving it which they happily did and when we scheduled the install, it was only a week wait. It's been raining a lot so they called the day before the install to let me know that if it was rained out, they wanted me to reserve a future spot another week out before they booked up. The gentlemen were able to install the set, as planned and they really took great care in getting it level and sturdy; even the fact that it had started to rain when they were 75% done didn't seem to rush them, I watched them really beat the thing up a little to make sure my kids would be safe, which I really appreciated. I was warned to keep the receipt when I purchased the set to keep the warranty valid which I could argue is silly since it's all computerized but then again at least they told me so I could keep it safe. Overall a great experience and everything went really well for us.

Playground equip was installed in our neighborhood 6 yrs ago and because we didn't have original receipt the lifetime warranty did not apply to wood that needed to be replaced. Our cost of 1700 was to replace boards that had cracked or warped as well as handles and other plastic pieces that had cracked. We got a little more rubber mulch and tightening of the screws for our money. This price did not include staining (almost 1000 more to do). We asked for a quote to refurbish. We decided to go ahead and move forward and it was over two months before we had anyone out to our site. They apparently only receive shipments once a month so hope it's not back ordered. We asked to have a receipt faxed or emailed to us so we could get a check cut for payment...they mailed the receipt and we mailed the check...slow. Everything was slow and the end result left us a little satisfied. There were many caps that were not replaced and a few handles we're missing and one board that was put up was a scrap w holes drilled in areas that were not needed. It was a slow process and the final result was not 100%.

The employess were very helpful and answered all my questions- even though I came into the store many, many times. The store manager came to my house pre purchase to measure and survey and make sure everything fit. A team of contractors installed the equipment.

They have a great showroom where you can let your kids play on the equipment and try it out. We also found out that the time to buy is at the end of summer when they have the end of the season sales. The people at the showroom were very helpful in answering questions regarding the equipment and installation. The contractors that came out did a pretty good job, although they left some accessories in their truck and I had to remind them that some items were missing. They didn't have the glider with the chain in stock for some reason when they were coming out to install our swingset, so they installed the rope one and said they would come out later that week to give us a chained glider. After a week, I did have to call to remind them, but once I did that they came out the next day.

Purchase experience was great. Getting the installation was not so great. After we asked for a spot on any last minute cancellations, our scheduled appointment was canceled without informing us. We were fit in after some complaints and were told that the installers would arrive between 8:00 and 8:30 AM (this is earlier than their normal start time of 10:30 to 11:00 AM). After their 10:30 appointment was canceled, they moved our appointment to 10:30 without informing us. Lots of lost work time on our part due to poor communication on their part. The problem seemed to be mostly with their person scheduling installs. Everyone else we dealt with was great and we really like the product.

We looked at several playset companies before deciding to purchase from Creative Playthings. Their salespeople were very helpful and knowledgeable in helping us choose the right model and they even sent a person to our home to help us decide the best placement for it in our yard. Since our backyard has a slope, we ended up using a landscaping company (Impact Landscaping, found on Angie's List) to grade the area for the playset. The installation went very well, and the crew was on time and did a professional, quality job. Overall, we were very pleased with this company and would recommend using them.

WE HAD A MESS WITH THE ORIGINAL INSTALLATION - THEY MOUNTED A PICNIC TABLE ABOUT 8 INCHES TOO HIGH AND WE HAD TO GET THAT CORRECTED (WITH RESULTANT HOLES SEALED). THEY AGREED TO SOME CONSIDERATION FOR OUR HASSLE AND OUR KIDS HAVE ENJOYED THE SET. I AM UNHAPPY WITH THE WOODEN DOWELS ON THE MONKEY BARS, WHICH HAVE BEGUN TO SPLIT AND SPLINTER AFTER 10 MONTHS - THEY ARE TO COME OUT AND ''TUNE UP'' THE SET NEXT WEEK AND HOPEFULLY WILL REPLACE THAT BAD WOOD.

THE GUYS IN THE SHOWROOM AND THE GUYS WHO BUILT THE SET WERE SUPER. THEY HELPED US PUT TOGETHER A PLAYSET THAT OUR CHILDREN CAN ENJOY FOR YEARS. THE PRICE WAS THE BEST IN TOWN AND IT WAS DELIVERED/BUILT THE NEXT DAY.

AL GARRICK'S PROFESSIONALISM AND CUSTOMER ADVOCACY MADE IT A VERY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE. HE PERSONALLY CALLED SEVERAL DAYS AFTER DELIVERY TO MAKE SURE WE WERE SATISFIED.
