I scheduled Cottagecare to come clean my home after speaking with them on the phone in their home office in Kansas City. I was a little hesitant since they were not a locally run company and I had never used a national cleaning company before. However, I was not pleased with the level of cleaning provided by the small privately owned cleaners that I had been using so I really had nothing to lose by giving Cottagecare a try. And, if they lived up to what they said they could do, I would be very happy. Well, let me just say that they not only did what they said they could do they blew me away with their level of cleaning. Both my husband and I are very type A and we were both amazed!! When one of the women, Heather, came out of my master bath with knee pads on, I knew this company was serious about cleaning. My tile floor in my bathroom has not been that clean in years!! I have already scheduled them for next month. If Cottagecare is consistent and they clean like this every time, they will have a customer for life!! :-)

Kudos to Peter, the manager who has always gone above and beyond to make sure that each houselceaning experience is perfect. He has always been willing to accommodate me on last minute needs. They have always been extremely professional, detailed oriented and thorough. I have found them to be very dependable, consistent and how excellent their cleaning service is. The service that has been provider to me has been very stellar.

Outstanding.

The 2 women cleaners were very nice, but they missed alot of stuff. One bathroom faucet still had dirt under the handle, the shower door still looked hazy, had what they said was "water stains" they didn't get off. One toilet still had those rust colored stains in it.They did the kitchen last, and that's where they missed a whole 12' counter, all of the tile backsplash, the outside of the fridge, the bottom of all the cabinets and a few other small things. The top cabinets that they did clean still had spots I could see that they missed. I was very dissapointed in the lack of thoroughness. This all happened the day before I was to have pictures taken of my house to list for sale, so I ended up having to clean everything they missed. When I complained to the Charlotte manager Peter, his response was "well they got 90% of the job done" and he offered no compensation at all. I will not do business with this company ever again. It's understandable that people miss stuff, but a good business would make it right somehow by offering something for the inconvenience.

This service is the best I have ever used. They send inspectors to check that the cleanning is done to a high standard. They also call a day ahead of the service date to remind me. I have referred friends that are now using the service and who are happy with it.

They had done a very good job. They were very good at communicating too, and had also cleaned up after themselves.

Quality of work has been a bit inconsistent. Most months the cleaning is satisfactory (nothing extraordinary), but in more than one instance they have left trash bag laying in the yard for animals to tear open (that's happened 4 times in the past year - UGH!), have failed to change any linens, left trash cans full in bathrooms, etc. Seems like sometimes the cleaning staff is more focused on getting to the next job regardless of how much is done, rather than completing this job.

Really nice. Very flexible. The owner is extremely nice.

HAVE USED THIS COMPANY ABOUT 4 TIMES IN A YEAR FOR INTERMITTENT HOUSE CLEANING. I HAVE HAD A DIFFERENT HOUSEKEEPER EACH TIME. THEY SPENT 4 HOURS DOING MY HOUSE, WHICH IS NOT SO CONVENIENT. IT SEEMS A TEAM WOULD GET THE JOB DONE MORE QUICKLY. HOWEVER, THE RESULTS WERE GOOD.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB ON MY BATHROOMS AND FLOORS. THEY ALSO PUT UP WITH MY 3 DOGS.

FINE AT FIRST, BUT SERVICE SLOWLY DIMINISHED AND PRICES SLOWLY ROSE -- DISCONTINUED SERVICE.

MEMBER SAYS DIDN'T FULFILL MINIMAL EXPECTATIONS.
