My Realtor recommended Chris with Cornerstone. He came to provide a quote within 24 hours, walked thru the house and worked with the Realtor and home stager to determine what needed to be done to present my home in the best light. It included moving a variety of lighting fixtures, adding new canned lights in a bathroom, painting the ceilings throughout the house, some additional painting, and a variety of other tasks. Chris was able to start the work and complete the work within a week and within budget. When my son and I managed to damage my staircase wall and railing, Chris was able to quote the repair and make the repair within 24 hours. He was up-front about what to expect, when the work would be completed, and how much it would cost, and there were no surprises.

Although we are not quite finished with the current project most of the work left to be done is by the electrician, plumber and heating and air contractors. THis house was moved in two pieces and put back together. THis left the steps in the family room, the garage and the bedroom over the garage detached from the rest of the house. Due to the length of time the house was separated, a lot of damage was done by water intrustion, racoons, etc. The contractor had to tear out all of the sheetrock in the bedroom, remove all of the insulation, etc and build new walls to reconnect the two parts of the house. The house actually is more livable and spacious because of the changes that were made to family room, etc. The contractor is complelting the deck and will finish the new railings and steps in front and he will be finished. He is easy to work with, takes suggestions and tries to work out solutions to please me. I have worked with other contractors in the past that everything is a problem when you make a suggestion. This is not so with this contractor. I would higgly recommend his to anyone who is looking for quality work.

I have nothing but praise for Chris Ecton and his company. He and his employees have earned my respect. They're skilled, honest, dependable and their price is fair. I am 100% pleased with the result.

Chris was great to deal with, very upfront and honest and pleasant to work with. The inspectors and other subs commented on the quality of his workmanship more than once, especially the framing. He hired great subs that were also pleasant to work with and did quality work. He was the lowest bidder out of 3 bidders and he was also the most flexible in letting me "piecemeal" the job in order to save money. Overall a great experience and quality finished product that we are happy with.

Chris met with me for the estimate. He was on-time, pleasant and very thorough. The estimate was quite remarkable and he was able to fit me into a fairly busy schedule. Additional work was requested as the job progressed but he was always up front about the cost. He was a joy to work with and I would recommend him anytime! I expect to use him again myself.
