I like them because they were local, small company, and responded frequently. The price was good.

My nineteen year old furnance was blowing out cold air.Phil came from Comfort Control to repair under contract I had with Piedmont Natural Gas.He got it running again for a while but told me it was on its last leg.
So after it broke again Phil came back and we went through the replacement details and costs.He did me such a good job I decided to let him go ahead and replace the downstairs unit.
We had a great experience with CC and Phils crew.Thanks guys.

Call to make appointment went smoothly. Was able to make appointment at a time and day to my convenience. Two service techs arrived EXACTLY ON TIME! After preliminary discussion, they went to work inspecting the furnace and changing one filter (the other filter did not need changing but a back up was left just in case I deemed that it need to be changed before the next inspection in the Spring).
I was advised that there were three buffers attached to a like number of outlets that were meant to aim the airflow along the ceiling. Apparently these were of greater use in the Summer time and should have been taken off for Winter use. Rathet than have them remove the items, I decided to talk to my neighbors about their efficacy. Neighbors agreed and my son removed the buffers.
One tech pointed out that the contract price given me was in error so the contract was corrected saving me a few dollars.
All in all, the techs were here not much over 30 minutes. They worked quietly and efficiently much to my satisfaction. I was completely satisfied!
I guess that the proof is in the pudding. Assuming no problems through to the next service call, they will have done the job properly.

I had a coupon for 1 unit and I have 2 units. I wasn't upset that they didn't service the other unit however, they ended up cleaning my air filter. They cleaned it without asking me and charged an extra $30 and I wasn't thrilled when I could of done it myself and they could of applied that to the other unit.

The owner Bill came to our home and gave us an estimate to add A/C using heating ductwork that was fair and appropriate for our size of home. He also helped to troubleshoot a large room that was being renovated and did not have heating or air. Most of his competitors quoted us a 5 ton unit and he quoted a 4 ton that has worked out well even with the heat of this 2011 summer. His demeanor is easy going and is not "pressurized".

.They did a good job. They were on time and completed it at the cost they said they would. I was very pleased with them. Price what they quoted me was what I ended up paying them. They were on time. I will use them in the future.

However, it didn’t pass the inspection. They are going to come back and correct it. The furnace is fine, but my only complaint is that they should have installed it right the first time. They were fine otherwise. They are very professional, very responsive and were on time.

Very nice phone conversation to schedule the service, quick appointment time--got to us right away and fixed the problem quickly as well.

The job went very well. Comfort Control came a few times to try to adjust the original contractor's work, but it became apparent that the whole thing would have to be redone. The first contractor had placed a thermostat on an outside wall and, with the very high temperatures over the summer, the air conditioning never stopped running. They even came once to adjust and did not charge me for coming. They were always on time, were very polite, and tried as best they could to explain to me exactly what was going on. I don't speak HVAC. Now, everything is running great.

When I first called Comfort Control, I left a message for somone to call me about a total system replacement. The owner, Bill, contacted me the same day and came out the next day to inspect our current setup. He was at my house for more than an hour and was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and honest about what we needed for our house versus what we could afford. He provided an estimate the next day through email. We decided to go ahead and have Comfort Control do the work for us. The original time estimate was 2 days for the system installation. It actually took 3 1/2 days. But the crew was very friendly and cleaned up after themselves each day. I am very pleased with the quality of work and equipment we have received, and I would recommend Comfort Control to my family and friends.

A/C unit has load noise and wanted the furnace checked for winter. Bill came out himself looked at the A/C unit, as usual the noise did not show itself while he was here. He checked the furnace and everything looked good. He had a very honest conversation with me on what they could do for the A/C and furnace. After speaking with him I decided to wait until spring to address the A/C issues since it's October. He was very good about giving options and not pushing for a sale. My unit is 14 years old..most other places would just try to sell you a new unit. He didn't sugar coat what he could do for the unit and left it up to me to make the decision on what should be done.

Excellent. Comfort Control installed two package units in our house at a very reasonable price for the quality of work performed. The Job was completed before estimated date, Inspection passed at first time.
