COBE CONSTRUCTION

We were extremely pleased with Chris and his crew in the remodeling of this part of our 1920 home. Chris, who does both new home construction and old home renovation, came out quickly to give us an estimate on the work. His pricing included the flooring but not the countertops themselves but this way of doing the counters actually saved us money over other estimates. Even though we picked more expensive tiles than his estimate, he did not charge us extra. Never in our dealings with him did he make us feel rushed. Despite being busy, he always gave you his full attention for as long as you needed. He had many good ideas for how to save us money without sacrificing quality. For things like the installation of the window, he had someone he always uses do the work which came out great. Chris was quick to return phone calls and was a pleasure to deal with from day one. We were very happy with the whole job and would not hesitate to use his company again (which we will be doing).

The project was started on time. That's a huge plus! From day one, the staff has been courteous and clean, working many more hours then the usual 8:00am - 4:00pm. In fact, they have put in time on the weekend to make sure their work was completed before the painters came in. Chris, Matt, Scott and Grant are all very dedicated individuals who take great pride in their work. I have felt very comfortable giving them a key to my house. This was a very difficult project since the house is an over 100 year old Victorian with a lot of "settling" issues. The subcontractors they have brought in have also done their work in a very professional and timely manner. In so many ways, they have performed above and beyond. While they have been here, I keep trying to find projects so they don't go on to another job. They are truly awesome! Chris has walked us through the project on a daily basis. You can't go wrong with hiring Cobe Construction after I'm done with them !
