Classic Tile

Classic Tile was referred to us by a friend who was very happy with the master bath project at their condo last year.
Paul was able to meet us the same day we called. He was very good about asking what we wanted and offering ideas / options to help us decide. Paul explained that he has several suppliers around Charlotte with showrooms to help us make the final choice of materials.
Once we decided on the tile, cabinets, fixtures etc. Paul calculated the quantities and we purchased the material with his contractor's discount. This significantly reduced the cost of the project compared to other quotes from other contractors who mark up the material. The Classic Tile crew was responsible for pickup and delivery of all material for the project.
The crew laid drop cloths from the bathroom to the elevator everyday of project. They were very meticulous about cleaning / vacuuming each day. They were never late and would call 10-15 minutes before they arrived. We had several snow days where schools and businesses were closed but the crew always made it and was on time.
During demolition Paul found unused space behind the wall at the back of the shower. He was able use the space to add a seat and two recessed shelves. They only charged us for the extra material! This simple addition to the shower has made a huge difference in the bathroom.
Paul and his crew exceeded our expectations in professionalism, quality, punctuality and creativity at a reasonable price.

My general contractor called Mr. Mogorean when the original tile contractor was a no-show. He came promptly, within 3 days approximately, and did a nice, neat job that continues to look great. The only problem was that he did not clean grid marks (from being stacked) on several tiles. The general contractor eventually took care of this. Overall it was a good experience, and we would certainly use him again.
