Excellent - did the job professionally, timely and at reasonable price

The service went fine. The price was pretty reasonable.

Clark's Tree Trimming also trimmed our trees several years before. We also had one of those great big pear trees and he like cut it in half for us. When we first had used him, we'd gotten like three different estimates and we just liked his personality. We were just more satisfied with going with him. But we had gotten like two or three estimates. I liked the way he gave his presentation. I just gone through the yellow pages. I didn't know anybody and I put calls into bigger companies. He's kind of an individual. He has several people. He has a crew. I had two other estimates from bigger companies, but I just felt like going with the smaller company.

He came right out and I was quite pleased. It was during a really bad drought and I wasn't sure if my trees were dying. Some of the trees are 80ft tall and I was concerned whether or not the drought or a bug infestation was killing them. He walked around and assessed the trees and told me which trees needed to come down and which ones could stay.

Arrived on time and had the right equipment for the job. No nonsense or extra charges. Got the job done to my satisfaction and cleaned up well. My kind of contractor...nothing fancy, low overhead, no unnecessary heavy equipment, excellent price and performance. Even came back at no charge when I found an extra root.

FIRST TRIP WAS LEFT SLOPPY AND UNFINISHED. WANDA FINALLY RETURNED CALL AND STATED SHE HAD BEEN SICK AND WOULD FINISH UP THE NEXT WEEK. SHE DID DO THIS AND WAS PAID THE $150. A MONTH OR SO LATER, SHE CALLED TO SAY THAT THE BANDS WERE 'INDICATORS ONLY' AND THAT MY TREES NEEDED AN ADDITIONAL SOIL TREATMENT TO INSURE NO CANKERS, TO THE TUNE OF $350 MORE. AFTER SPEAKING WITH THE COUNTY EXTENSION SERVICE THEY STATED THAT THIS EXTRA TREATMENT WAS NOT NECESSARY. CANCELLED THE ADDITIONAL SERVICE. I FELT A LITTLE THAT I WAS BEING CHEATED. WANDA IS POLITE. HOWEVER, I FEEL A LITTLE 'STUNG'. HER TREE BANDING PRICES WERE MORE THAN I HAVE EVER PAID.

WANDA GAVE A PROMPT AND VERY ACCURATE ASSESSMENT OF THE PROBLEMS AFFECTING MY NEWLY PLANTED MAPLES. SHE DIAGNOSED INCORRECT PLANTING BY MY LANDSCAPE CONTRACTORS; LEAF SCORCH, LEAF SPOT AND APHID INFESTATION. SHE ARRIVED ON TIME TO DO THE WORK. I HAVE WAITED ONE GROWING SEASON TO FILE THIS REPORT TO ALLOW ENOUGH TIME TO PROPERLY ASSESS THE WORK. THE RESULTS ARE VERY, VERY GOOD AS BOTH TREES HAVE FULLY RECOVERED AND LOOK GREAT. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

I CONTACTED THIS COMPANY TO GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE ON THE REMOVAL OF A TREE AND THE STUMP IN WHICH THEY DID. I CALLED TO VERIFY IF STUMP WAS INCLUDED IN THIS PRICE. I CALLED 3 TIMES AND LEFT MESSAGES TO CALL ME BACK. I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK NOR AGREED FOR THEM TO REMOVE THE TREE. I CALLED ANOTHER COMPANY AND GAVE THEM THE JOB SINCE I DIDN'T HEAR FROM CLARK'S. I CAME HOME ONE DAY AND CLARK'S WAS ALREADY AT MY RESIDENCE AND HAD REMOVED THE TREE. THEY DIDN'T REMOVE THE STUMP LIKE I HAD REQUESTED WHEN THEY GAVE ME THE QUOTE. I HAD TO CALL THE OTHER COMPANY TO CANCEL THEIR SERVICE. THIS COMPANY ISN'T GOOD AT RETURNING CALLS OR GIVING EXACT QUOTES.

I ENDED UP USING ANOTHER COMPANY THROUGH ANGIE'S LIST.

REASONABLY PRICED, PROMPT, AND CLEANED UP MY YARD AFTER THEIR WORK. I'VE HIRED THEM TWICE NOW AND WILL HIRE THEM AGAIN. WANDA WAS VERY PLEASANT ON THE PHONE.

THEY HAVE ALWAYS DONE AN EXCELLENT JOB AT A FAIR PRICE.
