He said it was too old to fix and would cost more than it was worth. Then he said they sell high end machines there. I felt he didn't want my business so I left.

I highly recommend Charlotte Sewing Center. I took my machine in on Wednesday and he called for me to pick it up the next day. It runs beautifully...wish I would have gotten it cleaned sooner! Straight "tune-up" is $89.95.
