 + -1 moreHe said it was too old to fix and would cost more than it was worth. Then he said they sell high end machines there. I felt he didn't want my business so I left.
Description of Work: When got there I felt like he did not want to deal with me as I had a very old Bernina machine. It was not working.

 + -1 moreI highly recommend Charlotte Sewing Center. I took my machine in on Wednesday and he called for me to pick it up the next day. It runs beautifully...wish I would have gotten it cleaned sooner! Straight "tune-up" is $89.95.
Description of Work: Bill cleaned and maintenanced my Pfaff and made a repair.

 + -1 moreI called and was given a quote for a tune up, took it in that day and it was ready for pick up the next day for the amount of the quote.
Description of Work: A sewing machine tune up. The machine is a Kenmore I got back in 1972 and had not had a tune up since 1989. Works perfect now.

 + -1 moreTHEY DID A FINE JOB, KEEPING THE UNIT ONLY 1 DAY.
Description of Work: I TOOK A 60'S MODEL SINGER MACHINE IN FOR SERVICE, WHICH FORMALLY BELONGED TO MY GREAT AUNT. IT PROBABLY HAD NOT BEEN SERVICED IN THE TIME SHE HAD IT. IT WAS BREAKING THREAD WHEN USED SO I DECIDED TO SEE IF IT WAS WORTH REPAIRING. AFTER TALKING WITH THE SALESMAN/TECHNICIAN, I DECIDED TO REPAIR, RATHER THAN REPLACE WITH NEW INEXPENSIVE MODEL.
