As a Realtor, I have hired Jack Jordan and his crew for a number of listings I've sold. Having had wonderful experiences with them each time, it was a no-brainer to have them handle the paint on my personal home. The previous paint job was, put mildly, a trainwreck. Jack kept me informed of what needed to be done, including extra sanding and drywall work-- and never deviated from his initial quote. His crew was prompt, on-time, efficient, and friendly, and Jack was always reachable for any questions I had. Without reservation, if you need paint work done, Century Painting is the best in Charlotte.

Jack and his crew did an amazing job! They were all very nice and I ended up expanding the job quite a bit and they finished all of it in a day. Jack gave me a great price and it was worth every penny and then some.

Jack stays on top of project from initial estimate to final work, he is an excellent communicator. His team showed up on scheduled day on time, and worked digiligently with great care. They were professional and polite, ensuring they accomplished exactly according to my expectations. We had to make a color match for the trim and siding, Jack included me at the paint store to to work through a selection of paint grade and final color. The paint job turned out wonderful. We were very pleased.

Wow. That is all I can say. I purchased a home that had the absolute worst paint job I have ever seen. Jack quoted me a price and stuck to it. Even though there was more work involved then initially noticed. I ended up doing the whole home and Jack was quick to give me an adjusted fair price. His crew showed up on time and started on a Sunday and were done by Tuesday evening. My home had 20 foot 2 story great room and many edged corners and they painted every inch the best they could. Like I said the previous owner really did a number with the paint and Jack and his crew somehow manged to cover most of it up. There are still places where there paint remains on the fixtures like lights and towel racks but there was nothing that Century painting could really do about that other then me replacing those things. Century painting was truthful and honest the whole time and I never had to guess or stress about price or hidden charges. If something needed to be done extra or unforeseen he spoke to me ahead of time and we agreed on a price. I plan on hiring them in a few months again to do the ceilings in a few of the bedrooms whenever we have more time

Jack and his crew were extremely professional. They arrived on time for every day that they work and took great care in detail and painting the house. Their professionalism was outstanding. They did a complete walk-through at the end of the job to make sure I was 100% satisfied the house looks absolutely fabulous. Would recommend Jack and his crew for any job.

Excellent from start to finish! Jack was very professional and personable on the phone and gave me a great quote for all the work to be done. His crew came within a few days of our quote and knocked out the entire job in one day. We live in Huntersville which I thought would be too far away for his business, but they had no problem with our location and could come sooner than I would have expected. They painted a two store entryway, two staircases and all the hallway wainscoting throughout the house. They also repaired some areas on the walls that most painters probably would have skipped. Jack didn't try to push us into buying a particular brand or expensive type of paint, which I thought was nice. I supplied his crew with the paint and they went to work. The results are fantastic and I will recommend this painting crew to anyone looking for great quality work at a fair price.

We are new to the area and did not know anyone to call for the project. Found Century Painting doing online research (was not a member of Angie's list at the time). From my initial phone conversation with Jack, I could tell he was very knowledgeable in his trade. We set up a time for him to tour the house - it was a new house, we had not moved in yet so the house was empty which made it easier for them as they did not have to move anything. During the consultation, we were impressed with Jack. He took the time to explain everything in great detail which was very informational to us. While Jack's estimate was not the cheapest we received, we felt his knowledge and communication style to be appealing. His team was immediately available to start and finished the job in just over 2 days - they even worked all weekend to get the job done. The quality of work, thoroughness and attention to detail is outstanding. I appreciated the fact Jack texted me throughout the process to keep me updated and even sent pictures of the progress! It is hard to find good customer service, and Jack exceeded my expectation of the service we received.

We needed rental condo painted as new tenant moving in within a few weeks. Jack was able to get us scheduled within needed timeframe. Entire job was completed in one day! The paint job was excellent. He even painted a few areas we did not mention as well as repaired a few areas on wall and fireplace that we we missed when obtaining quote. He did not add any additional charge for this. My husband and I both work and have two small children, Jack made everything very turnkey. His crew cleaned everything up upon job completion. You would not have known they were there other than the walls/trim looked super! Jack and his crew did an excellent job. His caring and commitment to his customers was quite evident throughout the entire process. We would recommend Century Painting to Family/Friends and will use him in the future.

They missed an initial appointment we had set up to perform the painting telling me another job they were on had run over. After coming in the evening a day later they did not finish the job leaving a large section (about 4' x 2') unpainted behind a hot water tank (Pictures of the incomplete section are attached). The owner said initially that his guys forgot a roller to get behind the hot water tank and then later changed his story to say they were out of paint. I told him it needed to be finished and his response was "No one will ever notice that." He refused to send someone to finish saying that it was "not worth his time."
My experience in dealing with this company and the owner Jack Jordan was by far the worst I have ever had despite owning multiple homes and getting services like this done quite regularly. Since posting an initial negative review of my bad experience, the owner Jack Jordan followed up by threatening me if I did not remove the bad reviews. He went as far as to say the review hurts his business and in response he would call my company and make up lies about me in order to cause me problems at my own office, despite the fact that my review was 100% accurate of the poor service and refusal to come back and complete the job that I had already paid them to do. He somehow found out where I worked and was calling my office phone harassing me with phone calls and emails until I removed a negative review on Craigslist. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because of the harassment and threats and his response from that was to continue leaving me voicemails and sending me text messages cursing at me like a complete juvenile. They did not stop for several days and I had to call my phone provider to block incoming calls and texts from him. I cannot stress enough how much I would suggest everyone to avoid using this company. The juvenile behavior and poor professionalism shown after his painters did a poor job was unacceptable and borderline illegal.

"As we know there are 2 sides to every story and then there's the truth. Well the truth is, I have never done a job for [member name removed]. Actually,I don't even know her....but a past customer by the name of [member name removed]does. She must of let him use her account which I think is unethical to say the least. The real story to this is [member name removed] bullied & threatened me. He took pictures behind the hot water tank which you cant see with washer and dryer in place. I only had one gallon of paint for the kitchen, hallway and laundry room which we applied two coats. There wasn't enough paint to finish. I told him for $138 I could only provide one gallon of Sherwin Williams paint which cost $45.00 after my labor cost of two painters I netted $23 in my pocket. This was a site unseen rough estimate. I never visited the property to view it. This rental was completely run down and filthy per my painters. The hot water tank was very sticky with cob webs etc. I informed him of this. My painters knew one gallon was a stretch so they didn't paint behind there until they were finished with everything else. Well they were right. There wasn't one drop left to get completely behind the hot water tank. I explained to him what happened and he didn't believe it. I told him maybe my guys didn't have small roller, but later found out they ran out of paint. I offered to return...I finally offered him a full refund after he threw a fit screaming and yelling at me on the phone that we were not professional. He declined and then wrote this review. [member name removed] I did you a big favor for the rate I charged you. You told me you were short on money and had to use cc. & then I find out you have a $600,00 house. You told me it was only a rental and didn't have to be perfect. This is the only negative review I've ever had in 15 years of business. I'm really shocked how far he took this. Jack has consistently beaten other estimates, but also done better work than painters I've hired in the past. I hate painting but can't afford some of the outrageous prices I've been quoted, especially when in the past the work hasn't reflected the cost with other painters. Jack has always worked with us and done great work, and he's tried to do it within a reasonable budget. I highly recommend him to anyone I know looking to paint.

Jack Jordan came out to see the project. He was on time, took detailed notes, and offered several good suggestions. He sent a detailed quote later that evening and started work within a few days. He was personally on site each day and did much of the painting himself. I noticed a few minor issues several days after completion, but Jack came out the same day and took care of everything.

Great experience from start to finish!! Jack knew we were on a "time frame" and budget and did everything possible to make sure that it happened!! He gave us a quote one day and the next morning he and his crew were on the job. They were very professional in every aspect and I couldn't have asked for more. Jack promptly addressed any concern that I had and was also gracious enough to work in several extra things while he was there that we had not originally thought we needed to have done. They did a great job and would definitely use them again!!!

The entire process was a pleasant experience. Jack was very responsive to questions, and was prompt in his communication with me. They arrived on time (actually early-and he let me know he would be earlier than originally anticipated). The estimated price was the actual final price. He and 1 additional painter completed the entire job in less than 4 hours. There was nothing to clean up after they were finished. The room looks great. I'm happy. More importantly, my wife is happy! I would not hesitate to call Jack again.

He showed up promptly at the start of the project and his workers finished the project on schedule. His workers were very thorough and careful with their painting. The quality of the work was excellent. Jack even had his workers repair some of the nasty paint spillover that our last painters left behind. This was something he didn't have to do, but did as a courtesy.
If/when I have future painting needs I wouldn't hesitate to call him again. He was timely, his work was excellent, and he was a pleasure to do business with. Really couldn't ask for more.

Jack and 2 of his crew members repainted my house interior in 2 days, the week after I received a quote from them. Showed up punctually each day, and was in communication throughout the day if any questions arose. Floors/railings were all covered adequately, and there was no mess from the painting. He and his crew efficiently finished all of the painting in 2 days, including changing the master bedroom/bathroom (with vaulted ceilings) from a dark brown to a light color, while patching holes. I can't tell where any of the holes used to be, whereas the patches from the former owner used to stand out on the walls.
The day after the job was complete, I noticed 2 areas in my living room where the paint needed to be touched up (eggshell unfortunately likes to show flaws in the wall or paint job) - I sent Jack some quick photos, and he agreed to come back the next day to fix it up. The next morning, Jack was back with one crew member. While his employee redid the old patch jobs, Jack ran out to get more paint, and then they re-painted both walls completely, to make sure that everything blended in properly - great customer service.
