Mario is fantastic to work with. He truly cares about the project and works hard to troubleshoot any issues that come up to ensure all options have been exhausted before changing course. He is extremely responsive, professional, patient AND meticulous. He would check, double-check and, if-needed, triple check measurements, even if it meant coming to the property an extra time. Couldn't be more pleased with the experience and outcome.

Mario was by far the most detailed-oriented professional involved in my renovation. He excelled in communication with me, my general contractor (that he provided a list for me to interview / hire!). As a busy mom, I don’t have a lot of time to waste, so him making the process understandable, while catering to my needs / budget was exceptional. His design was seamless, he listened to what I wanted and did not want. He worked that into his plan. His design was excellent, having all the plans in order and properly scaled. I have a new admiration for his profession and feel so grateful that I hired him. Highly recommend !

CASNA Design was hired to draft "as-built" drawings for a dock design. Mario Navia agreed to inspect a fully completed project and use that information along with several detailed sketches to draft the plans within a generous timeframe. His contract format is ridiculously long and confusing for such a simple job, but we went ahead and paid a site visit fee of $200 + $1500 as a deposit on the work. He sent plans that were not legible, asking us to edit the work for him. He then informed us that specific software was required to mark-up his work. We offered to allow him to withdraw and retain the full $1700 when we realized he had NOT inspected the site as promised. He did at that time finally go inspect the site. He failed to complete the work, failed to communicate properly, and threatened to lien our customer's property. We were forced to pay another firm to complete the work. In the end he was paid a full $3600 for which we have received ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!

It took longer than we thought but that was partly due to the contractor taking a while to respond. The design company was very professional and organized and kept us updated and followups when thevl contractor was not responding. Only thing that I would suggest to improve is to have more forms of payment as they only accept wire transfer or bank account deposit. We did so zelle as that was a direct bank deposit. We are happy with the drawings and look forward to our project.
