Pete was great! We had inherited a fish pond (complete with fish) in the backyard after the purchase of a new home, and it had presented challenges for months. It had never been well maintained, and was messy and full of debris. Lately, the water level had been dropping so quickly that we had to refill it with a hose almost daily, and feared that there was a leak. I called Cascading Landscapes because of other positive reviews and because most other alternatives looked very expensive. Pete came out to take a look and give me his ideas right away, and clearly knew his stuff. I engaged him to come out on his next free day, and in one afternoon he drained the pond, saving the water and the fish, cleaned the entire pond, replaced the leaking hose, replaced the old pump arrangements with a much more attractive fountain setup, treated and replaced the water, and did it all in under the cap he had committed to for the work. He also left us with a list of advice regarding supplies for the pond and the ongoing care of water and fish. The results were beautiful, the fish have never been happier, and we haven't had a problem with our greatly enhanced pond since. Wish we had called him much earlier!
