Very good job exceeding expectations and for a reasonable price.

It went well. We told them not to bother with stump grinding which I may now regret but pricing seems to be arbitrary. Be sure to negotiate!!

Bill and his team were EXCELLENT.  They were flexible regarding when to arrive due to my work schedule.  His original estimate was accurate and all the work was done and CLEANED UP thoroughly.  He and his team were professional.  I would recommend to anyone in need of tree trimming.

They cleaned up and took great care of the property which on our property is very tricky because we are so heavily wooded. We are very pleased with the service. They also clearly had the appropriate equipment for the job. They were very responsive and cleared it away in the appropriate amount of time. They were very personable to work with. We need ongoing trees service and absolutely will be using them from now on.

Quick to respond, asked to schedule work, due to small size, when he had an opening his work load. Waited only a few days. Crew was great cleaning up all the work sites.

Bill came out to give an estimate and his ended up being the lowest bid.  The prices were so close, we had to make a "pick 'em" choice.  We chose Cascade because of his easier going personality.  Bill and his crew showed up on time and proceeded to get to work.  They were done in about 3 hours and the tree was removed and the other items trimmed with no damage to our property, nor any of the neighbor's property.  This is important because the tree stood only a few feet from the neighbor's fence.  We expected to find lots of debris, but our yard was completely blown clear and we haven't picked up any stray twigs since.  Clean-up well exceeded our expectations. 

Bill and his crew arrived on time and immediately got to work. I have a 2 story house and the tops of these trees towered above that. Bill and his crew went up those trees, roped off the sections, cut them and lowered to the ground. They ground up the limbs and sticks as they went; they loaded the huge sections of wood into a truck as they worked. Before leaving they raked the yard of all the debris and swept up all the sawdust. They started before 8 am and finished after 8 pm by the time they had completed clean up. Bill returned with a larger grinder on Saturday and ground up the 2 massive stumps. I have some more sick trees to take out and Bill will be the first I call.

I called 3 different tree service companies in the Charlotte area (all found using Angie's list). My criteria were companies that had excellent Angie reviews and were licensed and insured. I called Cascade tree service and scheduled an appointment to provide an estimate on the scope of work. Bill Battle arrived on-time and walked the whole property with me, taking notes on the work and providing his recommendations. He was at the house for approximately 30 minutes and at the end he provided me a very detailed and itemized quote of all the work and corresponding prices. He even gave me a copy of his most recent proof of insurance certificate (the other companies didn't do this). He had the most reasonable price of all the companies and I felt very confident that Bill knew exactly what I wanted. I scheduled an appointment for the work, and Bill (along with 2 others) arrived on time and started right away with removing the river birch. To tackle all the projects the equipment brought included an industrial wood chipper/shredder and loading truck, fork lift to remove large trunk sections, crane for trimming pine trees (similar to the telephone or power company cranes with the basket), and all the standard gardening and power equipment you would expect. They were at the property for half a day and I couldn't be happier with the service. By 5pm you couldn't even tell there were 3 pieces of huge equipment in my backyard. He laid down plywood to protect my lawn from all the equipment, moved all my patio furniture to prevent damage, completely cleaned the yard, driveway, and patio area of any brush and tree limbs, and even cleaned my roof from any debris left from the river birch. Bill and his crew went above and beyond on the quality of service and really showed a sense of pride with their work. I have a couple of other tree projects that will need work in the near future and I will definitely call Cascade again. I would highly recommend their services (at a minimum call for a quote). My neighbor obviously took note of his work because before Bill left, my neighbor asked him if he could give her a quote on some projects.

I need to call them today to get some work done. I have used their services multiple times and I have always been impressed with their work. We have a few trees in our yard. They are very professional and know what they are doing, as if the tree fell then it would destroy the house. They have good crew that comes on time and do what they say they would do. They clean up the area well and I have never had any sort of damage to anything. I think that their prices are reasonable, as in general the price for tree service is usually expensive. They have always done a good job. I had a tree across my driveway and the tree service guy came out to cut the tree. He moved it towards the side so that I could get out and he didn’t charge me which was really nice.

I've used Cascade before ... so it was no surprise that the work was done on time and better than even I expected. They remove the trash and leave the yard looking as if they'd not been here (except of course for the better look of my trees).

They showed up on time and they worked very hard for the duration, which was only about half a day. Also, clean up was excellent, to the point that when they were done, their was not a trace of debris on the ground.

Absolutely great experience. The owner spent a good deal of time walking through my property with me to get a feel for what I was trying to accomplish...making suggestions along the way. I was also consulted during the work effort for small changes to my request for my approval. Crew was very polite and personable, the work was done quickly, and all waste was removed. I will definitely use this service again!

They came right away, charged reasonable prices and did the work quickly which was helpful as I had company at the time.

The team was on time, did a great job and cleaned up.

Service was on time, and carefully and thoroughly completed. I called on Thursday to get an estimate, I got the estimate on Saturday. I called on Monday to get the work done and the trees were removed on Tuesday and stumps ground on Wednesday. All wood was carried away and area cleaned up. A very good job.

BILL BATTLE WORKED WELL WITH US AND DID WHAT HE SAID THEY WOULD DO. WE CONTRACTED TO HAVE TWO TREES REMOVED. THEY TOOK OUT A THIRD TREE THAT WAS RIGHT NEXT TO ONE OF THE TWO BEING REMOVED. THEY WERE EXTREMELY APOLOGETIC AND REMORSEFUL WHEN THE MISTAKE WAS DISCOVERED, "WHAT CAN WE DO TO MAKE IT RIGHT", AND WOULD NOT ACCEPT OUR CHECK FOR PAYMENT AT FIRST. THE THIRD TREE, HOWEVER, WAS BADLY INFESTED AND WE WOULD HAVE HAD TO CALL THEM BACK WITHIN A YEAR TO REMOVE IT. THEY SUBSEQUENTLY OFFERED TO REMOVE THE STUMPS AT NO COST; WE INSISTED ON PAYING THEM AND THEY GAVE A VERY REASONABLE QUOTE. I WOULD DEFINITELY WORK WITH THESE FOLKS AGAIN. THEY ARE HONEST AND FAIR.

EXCELLENT WORK - MR BATTLE DID EVERYTHING THAT HE PROMISED - A MAJOR CONCERN WAS THE LAWN - IT WAS NOT DAMAGED - WE WERE VERY SATISFIED WITH HIS WORK. BILL DOES THE TRIMMING & CUTTING WORK.
