They sent two maids, one was on time and my husband let her in. The other had several mishaps that morning and was a little later. They completed the work and left. We were not able to come by the house until later that night. We had just closed on the house the week before and had a few odds and ends like some paint, toilet tissue, paper towels and my husband had dropped off a flat of 12 jars of salsa which he put in the cabinet in the kitchen and closed the doors. He left all of the other kitchen cabinet doors open since we had bug bombed the week before and he was airing everything out. They were nto supposed to clean the cabinets. When we got to the house that night the 12 rolls of toilet paper were gone, the 3 rolls of paper towels were gone all the paint had disappeared and the 12 pint jars of homemade salsa. I called the office and left a message, very irate. I had to call again in the morning, they were still investigating. Understandably they were not totally convinced we were not just trying to get money off, we did not want any money off just our stuff back. After a few days of back and forth with the maids claiming they did not see anything in the house and did not throw away anything but the paper towels they brought and used, my husband checked the outside trash cans for the third time, after one of the maids said we should check it again. miraculously there were 3 jars of salsa set in the bottom and 2 cans of paint. When I called to let the owner know he just chalked it up to being mysterious. I am assuming the maids realized I was going to keep calling again and again so they put the jars they had left in the trash can. They did a fair job of cleaning but did not get underneath anything, they also cleaned the refrigerator after we asked them not to since we were throwing it away which added an extra hour to our charge. That we did ask to be removed but we paid the rest of their price. I was really unhappy that they took things out of our house. They took everything that was in it. Maybe they thought it was all from the former owners and we would not notice? We realize it was only a dozen jars of homemade salsa, some toilet paper and paper towels but it is still removing things that did not belong to them. There was no one else in the home nor does anyone else have access. We checked with our neighbors to confirm no one else came to the house. The owner was nice and answered all my calls. They did not call me at all. Again I understand they have these employees for many years and do not know me, but it happened, and it was a horrible way to start a new life in a new house. We were told they would not throw anything away or even move things that were in the home. Regardless, it was a mess and I doubt we will ever use any maid service again after this experience.

IN GENERAL, I HAVE BEEN VERY PLEASED WITH THEM.

MAID CAME OUT, I WAS OUT TO LUNCH, THE SCHEDULING COORDINATOR INFORMED MAID SHE DID NOT HAVE MY CREDIT CARD AND NOT TO DO THE WORK, HENCE MAID LEFT WITHOUT CLEANING. THIS HOUSE WAS DOWN THE STREET FROM THEIR COMPANY AND I OWN THE HOUSE AS WELL AS ANOTHER HOUSE IN THE COMMUNITY AND AM IN THE MARKET FOR ON-GOING MAID SERVICE. TENANTS ARE MOVING IN TOMORROW MORNING (5/1/04) AND I HAVE TO FIND A WAY TO HAVE THE HOUSE CLEANED BEFORE THEN. TOTALLY IRRESPONSIBLE OF CAROLINA MAIDS TO BEHAVE IN THE MANNER IN WHICH THEY DID. SHE TOLD ME IT WAS MY RESPONSIBILITY TO REMIND HER THAT I NEEDED TO GIVE HER MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER DURING A CONVERSATION WE HAD EARLIER TODAY. SHE GOT MAD AND HUNG UP ON ME. THE SUBJECT HOUSE IS OVER A HALF A MILLION DOLLAR HOUSE AND I HAVE OWNED IT GOING ON FIVE YEARS. I AM NOT GOING ANY WHERE AND I WORK FOR A MAJOR BANK. WE'RE TALKING ABOUT $90. THEY ARE BAD REFLECTION ON ANGIE'S LIST.

JULIA WAS THE CLEANING PERSON.

THEY CLEAN ABOUT AS GOOD AS THE LAST CLEANING SERVICE I HAD. WHICH WAS JUST OK. THIS DEFINITELY DOES NOT JUSTIFY PAYING $30 MORE PER CLEANING. I WILL CONTINUE MY SEARCH FOR QUALITY SERVICE AT A REASONABLE PRICE.

I WAS PLEASED ENOUGH WITH THEIR SERVICE TO CONTRACT FOR REGULAR SEMI-MONTHLY GENERAL CLEANING ON A REGULAR BASIS.

THEY SPENT 5 HOURS THE FIRST TIME THEY CAME. THE RESULT WAS FANTASTIC. I HAVE ARRANGED THEM TO COME EVERY TWO WEEKS. ONE THING TO NOTE: DON''T CLOSE DOORS TO ANY ROOMS YOU WANT CLEANED. THEY THINK THIS MEANS OFF-LIMITS AND DON''T CLEAN.

REAL PLEASED. I LEAVE HER ALONE IN MY HOUSE AND NEVER WORRY ABOUT IT.

MEMBER REPORTS MAID FLUSHED DEBRIS DOWN THE TOILET WHICH RESULTED IN CLOG. COMPANY DISMISSED RESPONSIBILITY.
