Just completed my refi with Cardinal in March, 2015. The process of doing any home loan refinance or purchase isn't easy because of the many documents that you need to provide. Also, specific to real estate lending transactions, many times there are uncontrollable snags, confusions and delays in the process due to all the moving parts; the title company, the appraiser, underwriting, the escrow company, county mortgage recorders office, the IRS for tax verification, etc, etc. However, the team at Cardinal was professional and efficient from beginning to end. Any issue that surfaced were immediately addressed and taken care of! The staff was communicative and always there to help me with my questions or concerns. Their automated system for securely uploading and sharing documentation worked great. I was able to close on time and, due to the awesome rate, will save me alot of money each month! Thank you Cardinal... I would highly recommend to family and friends.

It was a great process without having to make any trips to the bank. All correspondence was by telephone and email. We got a great rate and great customer service.

The entire process was great. I thought that doing a mortgage over the phone and internet was going to be a hassle, but they were always willing to help me along the way and answer any questions that I had. I would definitely recomend them to everyone.

We recently refinanced our condo. They were really smooth with the entire process. they were helpful, responsive, have us good APR. The process felt easy breezy with all the support they provided. I highly recommend.

Cardinal Financial offered great rates and very nice processors. The only downside were the underwriters and the length of time it took to close the loan.

I've used several online lenders in the past and it can be a real nightmare trying to get a hold of people when things aren't going right. However, you can get some really good deals on rates if you're willing to put forth the effort compared to normal banks. I even used their partnered title/closing company and they were by far the cheapest on their title insurance and they came to my house at my convenience to close! But with Cardinal it really wasn't any harder than it would be through your local bank. Everything just went perfectly and kept chugging along behind the scenes. Every now and then I would get an email asking for something or just updating me of the status. They closed on time and worked with me to make changes if needed throughout the process. Would highly recommend them.

I was very pleased with the loan I secured through Sebonic Financial. I got a great rate that was far better than the rate that I was quoted by several big mortgage banks. My loan officer was very knowledgeable and helpful especially with my unique situation. After moving to a different state, and starting a new job, I was buying a new primary residence but still hadn't sold my other home. I had just rented out my old home after failing to sell it and I had concerns that I would not be able to get a loan on a new home at a decent rate. My loan officer asked me some very specific questions related to the old property and the rental income and he was able to get me pre-approved. After the pre-approval process, the loan application process went very smoothly and was handled completely over their secure web site. The application process was a breeze because all of the documents could be filled out and signed electronically. I never had to mail any documents to Sebonic but instead scanned them (e.g., bank statements, evidence of funds, etc.) and uploaded them. The entire process was very easy. Along the way, all of the other folks from Sebonic in the processing and closing department were very helpful and were quick to respond to my questions. Admittedly, I was hesitant to use Sebonic at first since I was unfamiliar with their name but I rolled the dice based on their positive on-line reviews. I didn't regret my choice and I was so pleased with them that I decided to write this review so others in a similar position will feel comfortable using their services. You will not regret it .

I worked through Sebonic from start to finish and had a great experience. They helped me set up a strong loan from the start, to understand the costs along the way and to understand the different loan options when situations changed. They were helpful and personable which was a huge plus since this was my first home loan and had little experience. Would definitely use again!!!

We recently used Sebonic for our mortgage needs when purchasing a new home. We chose them because they had the lowest rates we could find. Upon interacting with their staff, we found that they were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We had an extended amount of time until closing and Sebonic thoroughly explained all of our options and helped us through the process. They kept us informed of the progress on our loan and always were able to answer our questions or address our concerns. We would highly recommend their services.

The rates/credits offered by Sebonic/Cardinal Financial were far and away better than any of the several other lenders I contacted regarding my refinance. I was a little hesitant to work with an online bank, but everything worked out very well. My loan managed to close within 30 days, even over the holidays and with some last minute changes to make sure I got the most out of my lender credit. I've already recommended Sebonic/Cardinal Financial to two friends, who are also in the process of refinancing.

Very easy and smooth process. All document submission was handled electronically and securely. Staff was very knowledgable and easy to work with. Would use them again if the need arises.

Overall I was happy. After shopping many lenders, Cardinal had the best rates and lowest fees. They did take longer than expected to close and their GFE for my initial escrow deposit was much lower than actual but it was still worth it and I would use them again.

It was a very simple process to refinance our mortgage with this lender. It could not have gone any smoother.

I was skeptical of the offerred deal. Much lower than local banks, Quicken, etc. never heard of Sebonic. quicken offered 4.5% with about 3000.00 closing costs, no appraisal needed. Sebonic deal was basically no fee after a credit for 4.125 rate instead of 4.0 rate, did have to pay for appraisal at 450.00 $. Quicken agent had not heard of Sebonic either and was very honest. He even suggested that I not go with Sebonic as he could not believe that they could complete loan at that rate and that I would be sorry at closing to find problems with deal. He suggested that I go with a local credit union for safety if I did want to go with Quicken. This gave me further concern about offer. I spoke to John Roberts with Sebonic and he assured me that offer was good an that with my credit rating ( about 800) and a confirmation of property value, there would be no problems. Skeptical me then googled Sebonic on Better Business Bureau - discovered excellent A rating, multiple positive write ups with only one or two less enthusiastic, mostly dealing with poor procedural issues with online filing. I then actually joined AngiesList and paid for option to review company not in my area. There were about 50 reviews all but one were excellent and included details. I decided to go ahead. Called quicken and told loan officer I was going with Sebonic. He was skeptical, but told me He would call me in a month and expedite my loan if Sebonic fell through. (It did'nt !) Loan application process was exhausting- new government rules, online uploading, etc. all taxes, insurance, pay checks, property taxes, trust documents, etc. Be prepared, I had been warned but was still frustrated by end of process, even kind of unloaded on poor agent one day towards end of process. Everyone was courteous, understanding, and considering amount of information, efficient, just be prepared for lots of questions, have all your documents ready, and have someone around that is computer, fax, printer savvy to speed up process. Entire process took about a month, had one free rate extension provided by Sebonic, had to pay off and close an equity line of credit, remove title from a trust ( later returned with no problem) John Roberts, loan agent was patient, friendly, and got me a great deal. Megan Bellingham, loan processor also patient, handled my mini meltdown well, and was efficient. Appraisal was scheduled quickly. Callie Cook, final Loan processor was also very friendly, efficient, responded quickly. Signing was at my house, went smoothly. All in all - very pleased with deal, process might have been easier with one person at local credit union but I would have paid about 2500.. More for loan costs and had to settle for 4.5% rate. Payment down 220.0 0 / mo. - @ 20 % savings.

Carlos Tavel helped me get a loan on my first home. It was very important to me to find somebody who I could trust and who was patient enough to answer a lot of questions that I had since I was totally new in financing my first home. I was a little worried dealing with a mortgage company online at first but after talking to Carlos at Cardinal Financial, I was comfortable enough to give it a try. Carlos was very helpful, responsive and patient answering all my questions. He wasn’t trying to sell me anything but gave me plenty of options to choose from and gave me an advice on what is the best loan product for me. After Carlos secured a very competitive rate and loan product for me, other people in the company have helped expedite my loan process. Shannon, Desiree, Stacy, Sandra, and Jennifer were all part of the team helping me with the loan documents. Thank you all! One advice to a potential borrower is stay on top of all the documents that you need to submit and keep in the loop all the people that you are interacting with at your lender as it takes several individuals to close the loan.

My experience with Sebonic Financial was superb! Starting with Brad Salin and finishing with Rebekah Graham, I found the members guiding and assisting with my home loan to be top-notch. They kept me informed, answered my questions, and worked very diligently to ensure I closed completely and on time. Brad went out of his way to ensure my loan stayed on track, even when my estimate was higher than the appraisal. Rebekah worked nights and weekends to ensure all the documentation was correct. She even stayed with me on the phone for an hour while we completed forms and applications, copied them, and uploaded for the loan. I admit I was apprehensive at first when working with Brad on the loan. All my apprehensions soon disappeared as he definitely knew his business and is very customer friendly. This assurance continued throughout the entire loan process. You will not err in choosing Sebonic Financial and Brad Salin or Rebekah Graham!

My experience with Sebonic Financial was a great experience. The individuals I dealt with were very polite and were great about answer my questions. They were very quick on answer my emails. Sebonic worked very hard for me and was able to get a better rate than any other company. I would highly recommond Sebonic to anyone.

The cost included all closing costs and this included the appraisal with every other fee. The actual cost was less than posted. I appreciated the promptness of this team and their professionalism. When I had a question they were good to help me and quick to respond. The only thing they might want to do is just let you know ahead of time that you will moved from dept. to dept. while you are in the process of doing the loan. No big deal if you know it ahead of time, but it got a little confusing to know who to contact or how it would work going into it. By the end of 30 days my loan was completed. Very pleased with their service. All of the fees that they charge are reasonable. Good experience.

We selected Sebonic from a list of 15 financial institutions to refinance our mortgage; we switched from a 30-year fixed to a 15-year fixed. The quote process was very easy - we worked with a loan officer who provided us all of the necessary information; this process involved two phone calls and an email. Once we decided to proceed, the entire process took 30 days from start to close. We worked with 5 different people, but with the exception of closing (which was done at our home), all interactions were via phone or email. There was a little confusion on their end regarding closing costs, but this was resolved prior to closing. My total closing costs were $685, but these were rolled into the loan so I did not pay anything out of pocket.

We had excellent service from Sebonic with our refi. Although underwriters are demanding these days, and this refi had some complications, we were quite pleased by the professionalism and responsiveness from Sebonic, especially Joe Jaques and Julie Bird.

After watching interest rates shoot up in May 2013, I finally chose Sebonic for my refinance in October of 2013. After my experience with them, I would strongly recommend them to anyone else. And if I was in the market for another refi or buying another house, I would choose them again. I chose Sebonic initially on the basis of two items: 1. Strong reviews from multiple people across multiple time frames. 2. They had the best rate & fee structure hands down during the month of October 2013. As I indicated earlier, I had been monitoring the market after the May 2013 interest rate blowup and felt very fortunate at getting the rate I got from Sebonic in October (3.125% 15 yr). With the exception of one employee's horrible communications lapse on my file, Sebonic was GREAT to work with. Each person that I interacted with worked quickly and efficiently & knew their stuff! Counting this refi, over the last 20 years, I have purchased 3 homes and done 3 refi's. This was by far the smoothest and the cheapest from a cost perspective(relatively speaking). As to that one employee, what I really liked about Sebonic, is after the refi went through, a Sebonic employee called me to do an exit interview. She wanted to ask my opinion of the process and how Sebonic did. Keep in mind, I got this call three weeks after the close. She was very interested when I explained the communications problem that I had with that one employee. What was even more impressive is she told me that looking at the contact records she could see exactly what had happened & thanked me several times for the feedback as it would help them get this person turned around and do a better job for her next client. That's follow through! So all in all, Sebonic did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone in the same position. The only thing to watch for is if you don't hear from someone in a timely manner, connect with a manager (in writing in addition to calling) to make sure they are aware someone is not doing their job. You will be very happy with the results!

I had an excellent experience with Sebonic, Gregg Longworth was my loan originator. I refinanced my 30 year FHA loan into a 15 year conventional. I was concerned about doing the loan over the phone and via the web, but the rate I got from Sebonic was .625 lower than what I could get locally, so I decided to go with it. Everything was handled via their website, other than the initial contact with Gregg, the appraisal and closing, which obviously can't be done online. I had to login to their site, read and esign several papers. I also had to print, sign, scan, and upload (or fax) several others. Then I uploaded the necessary financial supporting documents and waited a few days. They contacted a local appraisal service that called me to schedule the appraisal. They also contacted a local notary to show up with the giant pile of closing papers. Both were professional and took no effort on my part to arrange. Handling everything online turned out to be incredibly easy and convenient. I did all the paperwork and uploaded it late in the evening when I had time. I was kept current on what was happening via email. I could check my loan's progress any time I wanted via the web.

Writing reviews isn't my forte but we found Sebonic thru reviews of other people and boy were they right....Sebonic went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. My builder and Real estate agent were both skeptical about using an out of state mortgage company and one that we had gotten from the Internet but Sarah Harper from Sebonic proved them wrong. Not only did we get the cheapest rate going at that time but we also closed the fastest. We had gone thru a mortgage co. recommended by our real estate agent but they were both pricey and unprofessional, so by the time we dropped them and went to Sebonic it was close to the deadline of closing but Sebonic saved the day. Sebonic has a smooth loan process and they keep you informed through emails and an online account, no need for a face to face meeting. I would like to specially recommend Sarah Harper because she started the loan process for us and when the loan process moved to the loan officer who seemed to drop the ball we called her and she went to her boss Erica Price who moved mountains....literally. They had the loan ready for us the night before the day we were closing, the title company could not believe how efficient they were and cheap too.

I had a very good experience with Sebonic, and would definitely recommend them to others. My real estate agent was leery at first, since she had never heard of them, but she was also impressed with Sebonic, and said that she would suggest them to future clients. They completed everything on their side about a week before the closing date, which was fantastic - no last minute issues to worry about. Overall, the best experience I've had with getting a mortgage from a bank, and this is my fifth home purchases.

I am so impressed and satisfied with the service I received from Sebonic. First off, I was bombarded with lenders from lending tree for my business. Not only did Sebonic offer me the best rate and fees upfront compared to the other dozens of lenders - they came through on their promise to close me within 30-45 days. Impressively I closed on business day #15 even with Christmas and New Years thrown in there. My loan officer Yll B. was so wonderful to work with. Always responsive to my questions and concerns. They have an assembly line type model so you are in touch with different employees as the loan process progresses - everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable and helpful. It was very easy to get documents uploaded to the portal or faxed. They kept me up to date as the loan progressed. Everyone you need to talk to is available via email or phone. They have a dedicated customer care line as well. I could not have been happier with the service. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a lender. You wont be disappointed! Never thought closing on a home loan would be so easy and stress free!
