ebonic Financial provided the best rate and closed within the 45-day rate lock period while a lot of people were refinancing. Tamara was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. She is very knowledgeable and always willing to help even when it was not her primary responsibility. Her colleagues also helped quickly when she is out of the office. Abby worked closely with underwriting to complete that process.

We were introduced to Tamara two years ago when she generated our current mortgage. A neighbor, who also has a VA loan, had told us about his rate reduction. So, on a whim I emailed Tamara just to see what rate we could get. Sebonic/Cardinal beat our current (good) rate by 1.25%. It was also 0.25% better than what our neighbor had received from Wells Fargo with a similar credit score. We locked in immediately and Tamara took care of the rest. Tamara always provided us with immediate, top-tier service. She is highly responsive. When I don't understand something or I'm unsure of something I ask questions. She fielded a dozen questions from me and responded to each one, via email, as quickly as she would had I have been seated in her office. I recommended her to my youngest brother and his family as they are now buying their first home as well. We were returning customers and I'd gladly recommend friends and family to talk with her when they're in the market.

We received a great interest rate and at the last minute, we decided to take cash out instead of streamlining. They accommodated use with no issue and didn’t try and push us to complete the original loan, just to get us to close. We checked with 4 other lenders including a well advertised credit union that rhymes with avy mederal and an equally well advertised savings bank that rhymes with oo-es-aa and Sebonic was the lowest, by far.

The way that Tamara Eastridge handles her work is the model her profession should follow. 100+ emails were responded to within fifteen minutes (during business hours). She is organized, knowledgeable, and diligent. We haven't ever had an experience this easy. It actually felt like we were working together toward a common goal -- which wasn't our experience dealing with W.F. for previous home loans. I bought my first home with Sebonic, Tamara Eastridge. I had a friend who had bad experience with a lender. They added $2000 to his closing costs out of nowhere and he had to buy the home. So I was afraid that I might have same problem. At the closing, they gave me even better price compared to their first quote. They do what they say. I definitely suggest working anyone who has an approval from Sebonic. They answered all my questions and helped me with all documents. Thanks to Emily Hogan, loan processor, as well. A Great Lender.

First - I would personal recommend Cardinal Financial to my friends. They were actually recommended to me by a friend. Cardinal Financial was one of the most competitively priced offers around, with lower than average origination rates. They were actually 100x lower in loan origination fees then Quicken Loans / Rocket Mortgage!!! The real magic happened after choosing Cardinal Financial as a lender. The team treated me like family from day one. I really felt like we were working together as a team to get everything setup for the loan. Tamara, Katie, and the whole Cardinal Financial were great!

The team at Sebonic and Cardinal Financial supported each other and were very responsive and readily available. Although there were a few missteps in reviewing some documents and having to re-submit documents submitted prior, the team was able to recover quickly and in time for a smooth close. Rachael Swick was great and answered all concerns throughout the process. She knows her stuff.

The team we worked with were very communicative and transparent throughout the process. They were willing to answer questions or provide clarification. Everything went very smooth on their end. The refi took longer than the rate lock due to an extremely long delay in the appraiser being able to get here and to get the report back to Sebonic. We were however credited with the cost of the extension, since the delay was out of our control. This was quite simply the best experience we have had with a mortgage company in owning and refinancing homes. We pulled out of a refi with our then current mortgage holder due to all the inane demands they were placing on us for a rate that was 1/4 point higher after calling Sebonic.

The application process was all done online. It was easy to accomplish and upload documents they would like to collect. They act fairly timely. The fund disbursed timely. Email communication was easy as well. From the beginning to the end, I probably only spoke over the phone with people only 4 times - once to the appraiser, twice to the loan processor, and once to the notary who handled the closing.

We just finished a refinance through Sebonic/Cardinal Financial and I must say the entire process was great. Starting out, their rate was lower than our local mortgage brokers could find. The fees were less than half and the rate was .25 lower! If we were to pay the points to match the low rate from Sebonic (by using a local broker) we would have had even more fees ($7600 in points/fees to match the lower Sebonic rate). Bottom line, this was by far the best deal for us. Since this is entirely an "online" company, we were a little concerned starting out. Because of our unique situation, this was actually the third new mortgage for us over the last 19 months. We used a local broker and then a national bank for the first two - and the process was extremely difficult with both of them. Extra documentation, inaccurate information, last minute requirements, and last minute changes in costs (by thousands) were our challenges from the first two loans. The loan we just completed through Sebonic/Cardinal was a breeze! Our loan officer did a great job. She told us exactly what to do - which was actually very easy. We uploaded our financial documents to their online portal. The next person we dealt with was just as responsive, and she did a great job keeping us informed of the progress. The only delay was due to difficulties scheduling the appraisal (they are very busy in Washington State). Once that was completed everything closed out as expected, and most importantly, there were no new or added fees to our loan! Our total cost was around $1600, which is very good in our area. The entire process took 34 days. We couldn't be happier!

All went fine at first. We expected the mass amount of paperwork they asked for. The problem came when they requested us to get the title out of a LLC and back to a personal title, which made no sense in hind site since we were paying a higher rate for a business loan. I spent hours on the phone trying to get that figured out, and finally got it worked out for a closing at the end of October 2015 which was agreed to by an employee of Cardinal. Come to find out, they require a 30 day window for closing, and even tho the date had been agreed to by their employee, they would not honor this and wanted to charge me lots of money to keep the closing date as agreed. I found out 2 days before their 30 day window that I needed to pay the extra money. Also, it was not my doing for the delay in closing.....they could not get their paperwork done in time anyways. Also, If they had given me all the info up front, ie. changing the title out of the LLC, I would have not proceeded with trying to refinance. But by the time I found out I had already spent 2 weeks getting paperwork together and had spent $450. on the appraisal. Also, I do have it in writing that they would refund my appraisal cost "if things did not work out". Well, things did not work out and they have refused the refund! I could go on and on conc. phone calls not returned, etc, but obviously the service I received from Cardinal was dismal, frustrating, and dishonest.

Working with Cardinal Financial during our recent refinancing of our home was a truly wonderful experience. My wife and I have been through this process with other lenders many times over the years and I have never had a better experience than the one we just concluded with Cardinal Financial. The process was straightforward, proceeded without a hitch and we got an excellent rate. Use of the web by Cardinal to assist us in managing the entire lending process as well as the transfer of documents and information was superb. The staff as Cardinal are to be commended as well. Everyone there was professional, knowledgeable and went out of their way to insure all of our needs and concerns were met. Again, thanks to everyone involved.

I had read the reviews of Sebonic/Cardinal Financials and they were very positive. I had seen that some people had issues with delays and I wanted to provide input from my experience. I have two properties and have refinanced several times since 1999. With my current refinance I had tried twice before over the last six months starting at the end of 2014. I have an acquaintance who works as an underwriter (not at Cardinal Financials ) and she had warned me about the huge increase in regulations that have occurred over the last couple of years. I found this to be true as I needed far more documents then I ever thought I would have to produce. Cardinal Financials had the best system in place (as compared to the other two) for me to upload the information and to follow the process. Their people were friendly and knowledgeable and the process went very smoothly.

I refinanced my home to get a lower rate. It was a very smooth process. Everyone I worked with was great. Uploading electronic documents was easy and very convenient. A few delays here and there, but whole process was seamless.
