I just completed a refinance with Sebonic Financial. I went to closing exactly two weeks after filling out the application, absolutely amazing. Even the closing agent was surprised that it went that fast. It started with the agent, Gary Jackson, who got things started, and then quickly progressed through all the folks who handled getting things together for the closing (Amanda, Dezerae, Gina & Erica). We contacted Gregg Scharin at Sebonic Financial when we started the process of moving. I had an initial good faith estimate and pre-approval letter within a day. The document upload site was easy to use and made all communications and document submissions safe and secure. Every question I asked was answered promptly. I couldn't be happier with our experience with Sebonic Financial and will absolutely use them again as well as recommend them highly at every opportunity.

I just refinanced with Sebonic and cannot be happier with the experience. Everyone is so nice, from Keith Moore to Sara Charles and then finalizing loan with Jennifer Stockdale-Brown. They were all very attentive. Answered all of my questions. I cannot believe how quick and painless this refinancing experience was. I would highly recommend this company.

After a very difficult experience with a large lender while purchasing our first home, we spent more time shopping lenders before coming across Sebonic. Our initial loan officer was wonderful, and offered a loan package that was head-and-shoulders above the other companies we contacted. He was extremely helpful in detailing the options available to us, pricing, loan terms, and how we should proceed. As to be expected in this business, there were a couple of minor difficulties we had to overcome, but the entire process was very transparent, albeit slightly arduous at times. I cannot stress enough how important having all the necessary documentation ready to provide is to the speed and accuracy of the mortgage process. The entire Sebonic staff (even client care specialists) were very understanding and helpful, and corrected the few honest mistakes and oversights there were very promptly. Overall, our experience with Sebonic was very positive, and made our new home purchase much more enjoyable. I will definitely recommend Sebonic to those in the market for a home, and will undoubtedly use them for future purchases.

Overall we were very happy with Sebonic. The people on the front end especially were very professional and easy to work withThe extremely low rate enabled us to purchase the house we really wanted while keeping our payments at an affordable level. We did have a few paperwork snags just prior to the close (nothing major), but after six mortgage closings over the past 15 years, we have come to expect those as part of such a complicated process. We dealt with several of Sebonic's professionals who are also very personable.

I am a First time home buyer, the biggest financial commitment for me, very anxious and stressful process for anyone, but Sebonic made the whole process easy for me, they have the technology to support the fast and efficient loan processing, secure document upload and eSigning is a life saver to me, no need to Fax or Fedex any of the documentation. I got updates on each and every stage of the loan process; they returned my call promptly and addressed all of my concerns in a timely manner. They even gave me a free 7 day lock extension on my request, that itself a $500 savings for me. My loan closer Marlo M, she is the best, I had few issues related to some of the paper work, she went above and beyond to get that issue resolved, I would like to thank her for putting her customer first and taking care of them. Also, my loan originator Mike R, he is a very professional and worked extended hours to lock my interest rates and he even responded my email during the weekends. I would definitely recommend Sebonic Financials to my family members and Friends.

We had a very good experience with Sebonic Financial. They are honest, professional and responsive. If I ever had a question, it was answered in a timely manner. We dealt with a number of people in the Sebonic company and everyone was courteous and professional. About the only improvement I can see would be a little more user-friendly website as it can be confusing sometimes (but what mortgage process isn't?) We have been involved in many mortgage loan transactions over the years, and I have to say, these are one of the "good guys".Everything they promised, they delivered.

Sebonic was very thorough and allayed almost all my concerns about dealing with an online entity rather than a B&M financial institution. Their prices beat the pants off all competitors and the people I worked with were very good at what they did. The only less-than-stellar thing I can offer is that the various parts of the mortgage conveyor belt, i.e. the people on the stops, are not as fully integrated with each other (given that they've only been working a few months, understandable!) and I was unclear as to the process. But they were all kind, generous people, and I would prefer doing business with honest and transparent people even if they didn't have the best rates around. The best part is that they do! I want to thank Todd, Kelli, Misty, and Jade in particular for making sure my every question was answered.

This was a really good experience for me overall. All I cared about what that my loan closed on time and that Sebonic pulled through with the rate and terms they quoted me on the Good Faith Estimate. They did in fact meet both of these objectives. It was a little more effort to make sure that my loan was moving through the process, because there were several people who were involved in this transaction from the Sebonic side, but my loan officer was always there to answer questions if I had a concern about something getting stuck. In the end, it was worth having to put in the extra effort given the amount of savings I realized. I would definitely use Sebonic again for another transaction.

We were very pleased with Sebonic. I was quite nervous about the process but it ended up being much smoother than expected! Everything except the closing was handled by phone or online. The rate was excellent and there were no points or extra closing costs. We went with a 7/1 ARM. The electronic signing process was easy and efficient. Mike, our loan officer, was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. When I called customer service they promptly answered my questions. The processors answered my emails - immediately or within a few hours. We had several processors but I was okay with that since they were all helpful. We did end up needing an appraisal and faxing quite a lot of documents. It took 25 days from application to closing. We closed the loan with a notary - at our kitchen table - very convenient! I would happily recommend Sebonic Financial to family and friends.

I was pleasantly surprised about how smoothly my financing went. I have refinanced and bought many homes in the past. I was dreading going through this. I cannot stand dealing with banks. Sebonic was a refreshing experience. My loan was closed in 27 days and I was not hassled with last minute requests for information. More important, when I called the toll free number for assistance, I was rarely ever on hold and I got a human being withing seconds. There was no automated answering tree. Really! Everyone I spoke to was polite, knowledgeable about my account and helpful. I never got the run around. Folks, this was different from start to finish. The process was virtually stress free. That says a lot when it comes to borrowing money. I even referred Sebonic to my bank rep for her refinance. Sounds funny. But very true.

We recently had the pleasure of refinancing our mortgage with Sebonic Financial. We were able to take advantage of the HARP refinancing program and we received the best rate with Sebonic by over a quarter of a point. At the beginning of this process we had never heard of Sebonic Financial and found out that they are part of Cardinal Financial. We spent a lot of time doing research to find the best rates and we felt like we got the best deal possible with this company. Throughout the process everyone we talked to was very nice and helpful and they definitely kept the ball rolling. Sebonic kept us informed and answered all our questions throughout the process efficiently, even if they had to get back to us with an answer. In addition, we were working with a different company (Cash Call) and we had a completely opposite experience with them. We started our loan process with Cash Call weeks before deciding to go with Sebonic and we just got nervous because nothing was happening with our loan. The day we closed with Sebonic Financial we got finally got a call back from the Cash Call people and we were very happy to tell them that we were already finished with our refinance. We felt like Cash Call was dragging their feet because they would not lock in a rate for us until we were almost ready to close. In contrast, Sebonic locked in our rate for 30 days within 15 minutes of calling them. Customer service is key in this industry and Sebonic seems to have figured that out!

This was the third time refinancing our home so I am familiar with the headaches. I love to take advantage of lower interest rates and these people offered what other financial companies we telling me was impossible. I even checked with my CFP at Merrill and he said to good to be true. It was TRUE! Sebonic's process was actually FUN! Very knoeledgeable and friendly people. Excellent phone support and a secure internet portal for questions, uploading documents and monitoring the process. We painlessly and hassle free closed in less then 30 days. Use this finance company!

Great ! I know this is not a simple process and of course there were minor snags , but nothing major . This company is owned by Cardinal Bank of Virginia . Sobonic is a new company but they know what they are doing one of the loan processors has over 30 years do this and it showed. I went from a %5.25 to a %3.35 . every thing went as planned for the most part and I will be saving a TON of money . SEBONIC and Cardinal Bank = recommended!!!

I've closed 10-12 mortgages (both purchase and re-fi) with many banks and brokers over the past years. Sebonic is right up at the top of the list - super service! Their web interface, and auto-updates via email made the entire documentation process a piece of cake. Everything was sign and scan. More importantly, everything was practically done in real time. Never having heard of them before, I was leery of the ultra low 3.5% APR quoted on 30 yr loan back in May '13, especially after rates quickly moved higher - I was afraid my rate lock would expire before closing, and I would have to pay more. In fact, they closed me with time to spare - more importantly, before closing, they gave me a free lookback to the prevailing rates on the day I locked. This allowed me an option to switch from a 30 yr fixed to a 10/1 ARM at 1% lower. They were super! You can lock and close with Sebonic with NO worries. They are the real deal.
