 + -1 moreWe dropped it off and were told that a repair technician would be arriving the following day from Atlanta - we were in luck! We called and NEVER heard back. Even went by and were told it would take longer. My daughter returned to Africa without her camera. I waited another week and went by. I was given my camera - unrepaired - and told that the technician had said both the lens and the camera body had to be sent directly to Nikon. They had the camera the entire time! Worse thing about it - no apology. Just a "yeah well sorry."

 + -1 moreWe brought the camera to the store, and were told someone from their Atlanta service repair office would be there the following day - lucky right? No. We kept checking back and calling. We were told they were waiting for a part to come in. Continued to check back. When I went in a month later, they handed me the camera - "no charge." What?! Their diagnosis was that the memory card wasn't the required 8 cb size. That actually wasn't the problem - we had tried about 4 different cards hoping that the "error" message was linked to a card problem. The card that was in the camera wasn't the original 8 card. Also, what happened to the "waiting for a part" to come in? The lens was also having difficulties, so I reminded them that we had brought it in for that as well. "You have to send it to that company. We don't repair those here." What?! You've had my camera for a month and never mentioned that when we called or when we came by, much less when we dropped it off?! Their location is convenient but I would NEVER go there.
Description of Work: Camera had "error" message no matter what memory card we put in it or what we attempted. "OKAY" button wasn't working. And lens was failing to fully extend when focusing.

Description of Work: I had a problem with my camera that the manager was able to advise me on. Unfortunately, repairs from the manufacturer will cost half of what I paid for the camera. Obviously I need to buy a new one, but I need a while to decide which way to go.

 + -1 moreThe photo restoration was outstanding!! It looks as if it's been protected in a museum for years, but the original was very worn on the edges, with scratches and stains and missing corners. I can finally see ancestors in my family for the first time in my life due to their ability to produce images from very old negatives from the 1940s and 1950s. I didn't want to send these negatives or the photo card off to anyone, so I am pleased that Cardinal Camera offers these services on site with such a quick turn around time.
Description of Work: They produced digital images and some prints of very old negatives from the 1940s and 1950s for me. They also did a beautiful job restoring a photo card from 1910 for me.

 + 0 moreThey have been very helpful whenever I went into the store. They have showed me how to take pictures off my Ipad and transfer the images to their printers. If you purchase a camera from them they will let you take the classes for free
