CABINETS BY DESIGN LLC

It went perfectly.  Cabinets by Design, Ann Van D*** and our installer were all wonderful.  The cabinets are beautiful and the installation was flawless.   To a person, everyone we worked with was professional and pleasant.  They made the design and planning process fun and during installation they went above and beyond at every turn to make sure everything was perfect.  Our contractor caused a number of headaches for us, and CbD did everything they could to minimize the negative impact (including ordering extra trim and making extra trips at their cost).  I just can't say enough nice things about them.  I highly recommend them, and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

The project could not have gone more smoothly. We ended up using another custom cabinet company, mainly because their price quote was lower and our builder had worked with them extensively in the past. But Cabinets by Design (Geppetto cabinets) is equally excellent. However, the services of Ann Van D*** were indispensable. Ann is an interior designer who specializes in kitchens. She is professional, knowledgeable, friendly, creative and patient. In spite of the scope of the work done, we were without a kitchen for only 9 weeks, thanks to our builder and to Ann's planning.        We ended up with amenities including a colorful island, built-in desk/bar area, pantry, self-closing doors and drawers, built-in spice drawers, an ice machine, dual trash/recycling drawer, bar area seating, built-in refrigerator, decorative mantle over the cooktop, and others. In my husband's words, "Anyone remodeling a kitchen should consult Ann Van D***."

The perfect word to describe Ann VanDyke at Cabinets by Design is....WOW!  She was wonderful to work with from start to finish and her extensive design background is evident from the first time you meet with her.  She has great taste but was more than willing to work with any ideas that we had and her design ideas were creative, unique and perfectly matched with our project goals.  The cabinets are absolutely beautiful and Ann made the selection process so easy for us.  She was in constant communication  and was fairly priced.  She also stayed fully involved in the installation process and was quick to handle any issues that came up.  We're thrilled with our new kitchen and owe so much of the credit to Ann's talent and hard work.  We would use her again in a heartbeat and will recommend her without hesitation!

They did great work. I loved them in terms of the design. The only dislike was that there was no follow up. Everything was fine. I would recommend them. I would use them in the future.

Was a wonderful experience.  Everything went smoothly and as predicted.  When we finalized the design and cabinet choice inclusive color and finish, Ann came and completed the measurements and told us when they should be finished.  She was accurate in all facets and communicated throughout the process.  Installation was smooth and professional.  When the floor guy damaged a drawer and a door, they were sent back and refinished without a hassle.  I would definitely recommend them.  What a pleasure to work with!

We only used the designer and didn?t use the company. The design she gave us was fantastic. Everything she did was first rate. She had a real vision for the space. It was wonderful. She was very reasonably priced for the work that she did. She did a terrific job. We got way more than our money?s worth. I have recommended her to a lot of people.

Wow, what a pleasure to work with! Ann is amazing. She really knows what she is doing. Every measurement was perfect and she was very knowledgeable and informative about all aspects of the kitchen remodel even if she wasn't providing the materials. (i.e. hardware) All cabinets were replaced in my kitchen and everything turned out beautifully. Everything was on time and completed exactly when they said it would be.

We were referred to Ann by our contractor. From the very beginning I knew she was exactly what we needed in order to LOVE our new kitchen. When we gave her our initial thoughts on what we wanted to do, she came back with two proposals, ours and one with her recommendation, which was awesome! She provided wonderful guidance when picking out our cabinets and hardware...this was the best part of the whole process, which as most who have done it know is not easy. We were worried about the timing of delivery and installation, but it went more smoothly than everything else we did...thanks to Ann! She stayed on top of the installers to make sure things were done correctly as I couldn't be there due to work. She is professional, responsive, honest, and she has great taste! We love everything she helped us do...our new kitchen layout, cabinets, bookshelves and bar area!

We have a small home of about 1100 sq feet and the laundry hook-ups are in the kitchen. Our kitchen has an oddity in that the back of the Chimney protrudes into the room making it an unusual shape with which to work. Because we have space constraints in the kitchen we needed some creative ideas and this is where Anne VanDyke proved very valuable. We were having problems with another cabinetry company getting back with us on a design. So we called Cabinets by Design and Anne showed up the next day. She took measurements and listened to what we wanted. Within a couple of days she got back to us with a design and we met with her to iron out the details. The one comment from Anne which gave us great assurance was that if it was not right they would make it right and they did live up to this commitment. Cabinets by Design were very easy to work with and were very attentive. The day our cabinets were delivered Lee, the operations manager, showed up to inspect the cabinets. The pantry had been damaged during shipping. Lee reordered another pantry that day. On the day of installation Anne showed up to make sure the installer, Michael, was clear on the design. Michael was great too. He was very detailed oriented. Anne was continually in contact with Michael and me during the installation. She also came out again for a final inspection. This experience was such a pleasant experience and so smooth that we are using them again to design the cabinetry in our bathroom. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
