Byron York Painting

Terrible.  It took longer than he said it would and they did a lousy job.  One guy did most of the work although the first day they started out with 2 guys but I never saw the second guy again after day one.

They did the full interior of my house. The project leaders name was Acura and he stood out.  I liked his level of detail and being there to over see the work. The actual owner of the company was not very responsive and there was no sense of urgency.  I had to constantly follow up with Byron to really make it happen and alignment of work hours for his team to be there to get the job done on time.  

I was very impressed with the attention to detail that Byron York and his team showed for the job. They did a very careful and meticulous job....the house has never looked better.

The painters worked extremely hard to complete the job. They assisted in moving heavy furniture and were meticulous in their work. Byron's oversight on the job was detail-oriented and thorough. They were all courteous and conscious of cleaning up and protecting my belongings. I will be hiring them again if I have any painting needs.

He is very detail oriented and he has a very positive attitude. He is always willing to pick up the small items that are forgotten. He is very accommodating with all of the small things. I have used him for both of my properties in the past. He does not have the lowest price, however he always does very good work. I have referred him in the past and I will continue to do so.

Byron gave me an all-inclusive quote that was approximately 25% cheaper than another quote I had received. Although other painters I had talked to expressed some reservations about being able to remove the popcorn ceilings and completing the job within my time frame, Byron unequivocally told me that he could deliver and he did. I was impressed with Byron's attention to detail and believe that he is a Renaissance man when it comes to his craft. He was pain-staking with his preparation, doing extensive sanding, priming, and patching to ensure the finished product would be attractive and long lasting. Byron's attention to detail is so pronounced that even after extensive preparation to my walls, he found himself dissatisfied after application of the first coat and prepared them again at no additional charge to me. I am thrilled with the finished result and would recommend Byron for anyone who is looking for quality painting.

Byron was professional and on time. He brought a team of five initially, and introduced us to the team during day 1 of the job. They were in and out in a day and a half, and we were able to actually use our home during that time as well. Everything went smoothly, and for the price, would recommend and have recommended Byron to friends in the area.

BYRON ALWAYS SHOWED UP ON TIME, WAS ALWAYS ACCESSIBLE BY CELL PHONE, AND KEPT ME INFORMED OF ANY ISSUES THAT AROSE. BY WAY OF BACKGROUND, BEFORE I MOVED TO CHARLOTTE, I REHABBED ABOUT 15 APARTMENT AND RESIDENTIAL UNITS SO I HAVE A GOOD UNDERSTAND OF WHAT CONSTITUTES QUALITY WORKMANSHIP, FAIR PRICING, AND PERSONAL INTEGRITY OF THE INDIVIDUAL. I WOULD PUT BYRON AT THE TOP OF THE LIST. THE $7500 IS AN ESTIMATE FOR THIS YEAR AND LAST YEAR'S WORK-PROBABLY A BIT MORE.
