Chris was great to work with. I trusted him from the beginning and did not seek other estimates. He has good communication and kept me informed on job schedule and completion. He came out to check the job after the concrete had set and he made a follow up phone call to be sure all was well.
I highly recommend working with this top notch professional.

The quality of his work was just perfect and his price was fair. We are going to use him for another job in the future.

Excellent. And rather than replace a large area of driveway on the house side of the sidewalk, they cut out a small triangular section and replaced only that. Chris Suddreth and his associate, Luis, are real craftsmen. They removed the entire unreinforced driveway apron and added reinforcing wire screen before pouring the concrete. They also added expansion joint material between the new section and existing work. The triangular section of the driveway was cut out and Chris drilled horizontal holes into the existing driveway and inserted rebars so that the new section would be tied in with the existing driveway.

Suddreth did not use regular strength concrete that typically has a strength of around 2,500-3,000 psi. Instead, he used a low aggregate/high cement content 5000 psi grade. I was extremely impressed at the high quality of the finish work that Chris and Luis provided. We allowed about four days for the concrete to cure before driving a vehicle on it.

IT WAS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TRYING TO FIND ANYONE TO WORK ON THIS THING. AFTER HAVING SEVERAL ROOFERS LOOK AT THE LEAKING PROBLEM, A FEW SUGGESTED I FIND A MASON TO LOOK AT THE STONEWORK. I CALLED ABOUT A DOZEN MASONS IN THE PHONE BOOK, AND GOT NONE TO EVEN SHOW UP TO LOOK. ONE CHIMNEY COMPANY LAUGHED AT ME ON THE PHONE AND SAID ''GOOD LUCK, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO GET THOSE THINGS TO STOP LEAKING.'' THE FRUSTRATION OF THIS PROBLEM IS WHAT GOT ME ON ANGIE'S LIST IN THE FIRST PLACE, WHICH IS HOW I FOUND CHRIS. STILL, SEVERAL MORE MASONS WOULD NOT EVEN AGREE TO LOOK AT THE WORK. I MANAGED TO GET 3, INCLUDING CHRIS TO COME AND LOOK. CHRIS WAS THE ONLY ONE TO AGREE TO EVEN TRY TO FIX IT (N/A PRICE, NOTHING TO COMPARE!). HE ALWAYS ANSWERED HIS PHONE, SHOWED UP EARLY FOR THE ESTIMATE, SHOWED UP EARLY TO DO THE WORK, COMPLETED THE WORK EARLY, AND CLEANED EVERYTHING UP. HE ALSO ADDED SOME NEW STONES AND PATCHED A FOUNDATION CRACK FOR NO EXTRA CHARGE. EASIEST CONTRACTOR TO WORK WITH!

I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THE WAY IT LOOKED. I CALLED HIM ABOUT IT AND HE DID CALL BACK, BUT NEVER CAME TO LOOK AT IT WITH ME.

DUE TO THE OWNERS BACKLOG AND WEATHER, THE WORK WAS NOT STARTED UNTIL 6 WEEKS AFTER I GAVE HIM THE JOB, WHEN HE WAS READY. WE LOST ADDITIONAL TIME TRYING TO MATCH THE BRICK TO THE EXISTING BRICK EXTERIOR. THAT WAS ANNOYING SINCE THAT WORK COULD HAVE BEEN DONE WEEKS EARLIER. THE ACTUAL BRICK WORK WAS DONE QUICKLY AND LOOKS GOOD, THOUGH IT IMMEDIATELY DEVELOPED SIGNIFICANT (1/4 INCH) CRACKS AT THE JOINTS. THIS IS TO BE EXPECTED AND HE AGREED TO COME OUT AND REPAIR THEM. I DID NEED TO FOLLOW-UP AND REMIND HIM OF THIS AGREEMENT TO GET HIM TO ACTUALLY COME BACK. SOME CHIPPED BRICKS HE AGREED TO REPAIR WERE NOT REPLACED. ALSO, BOTH TIMES THERE WAS A FAIR AMOUNT OF EXCESS MORTAR SLOPPED AROUND THE GROUND OR ON THE ADJOINING DECK. THE PROBLEMS I HAD SEEMED TO STEM FROM THE HELP HE HIRES. HE IS VERY PROFESSIONAL HIMSELF. I FOUND IT HELPFUL TO WRITE VERY DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS TO THE MASON DOING THE WORK TO MINIMIZE MISCOMMUNICATION.

CHRIS SUDDRETH WAS WHO WE WORKED WITH. RESPONSIVENESS IS EXCELLENT, VERY GOOD LISTENER. HIS TEAM WAS ALSO VERY GOOD. I THOUGHT HE CARED A LOT ABOUT THE PROJECT BEING DONE RIGHT, HE HAD A LOT OF EXPERIENCE TO PULL IT ALL OFF!

HE'S PRETTY GOOD! HE INSTALLED A BRICK/CONCRETE WALKWAY THAT LEADS TO THE FRONT ENTRANCE OF MY HOME. I WOULD HIRE HIM AGAIN, BUT HIS TIME MANAGEMENT COULD USE SOME IMPROVEMENT -- HE'S BUSY.
