communication was poor. Our original contact passed us off to someone else partway through - we received emails instead of phone calls. When we said we were going out of town, they left us messages on our home phone (never called our cell) with instructions of new forms to fill out. We managed to do this in another town, and when we returned home, they had lost our file and we had to do it again. We were constantly signing forms dated weeks before, but never sent to us. On the day of the closing, they couldn't or wouldn't provide us the final balance to take to closing - just told us to "bring our checkbook". The terms of the mortgage we received was fine - the communication was a big disappointment.
