Bobby came out and within a few minutes was able to open the door. He also spent extra time setting up a new lock combination and teaching me how to open it. I highly recommend BC Lock and Key. Bobby is a true professional, very knowledgeable and genuinely cares about making the customer happy. He does an excellent job. A+++

Whole experience was excellent.

I had a great experience with BC Lock and Key.
One evening, as soon as I shut my front door, I realized that I had locked my keys inside. I called a friend who suggested I call BC Lock and Key. I called them and was quoted a price and a time when to expect someone to arrive at my house. The locksmith arrived within minutes of the time I was quoted and there were no surprises in the price. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a locksmith.

They were great. They were very friendly, easy to work with, honest, and upfront about their pricing. They suggested that we change our locks to a new lock system instead of rekeying the locks ever-so-often. They explained in full detail that locks would be more expensive upfront but would be cheaper in the long run because the keys are almost impossible to duplicate and BC Lock wouldn't need to come to our salons anymore to change the lock, I could do it myself and they could rekey the old lock during off peak times. This would save us money also since we wouldn' t need to play them a "trip charge" anymore. I know using this lock system cuts into their business but it's glad to know they are looking out for us instead of their bottom dollar.

THEY SAVED THE DAY!

WHEN I MADE THE APPOINTMENT I WAS GIVEN AN ESTIMATE OF $65 FOR THE 2 TASKS. I WAS STUNNED WHEN THE TOTAL BILL CAME TO OVER $120 FOR WORK THAT WAS COMPLETED IN 15 MINUTES. THE PERSON ON THE PHONE NEGLECTED TO TELL ME ABOUT THE $40 TRIP CHARGE AND $8 TO REKEY THE NEW LOCK. ALSO, THE PERSON ON THE PHONE HAD NEVER HEARD OF ANGIE'S LIST EVEN THOUGH THAT'S WHERE I GOT THE REFERRAL. AFTER THE WORK WAS COMPLETED THE LOCKSMITH GOT A CALL FROM A WOMAN WHO WAS LOCKED OUT OF HER CAR AT A NEARBY SHOPPING CENTER. HE TOLD HER HE WOULD BE THERE IN 35 MIN. (HER LOCATION WAS ONLY 15-20 MIN AWAY). HE HAD NO SENSE OF URGENCY AND PROCEEDED TO CHAT FOR 10 MIN. BEFORE GOING TO SEE HER. IT WAS LATE IN THE DAY (4:30ISH) AND SHE MIGHT HAVE HAD CHILDREN WITH HER OR NEEDED TO GET HOME TO HER FAMILY. I WILL CALL SOMEONE ELSE NEXT TIME.

PRICE GRADE IS A MINUS. I THOUGHT THAT FOR THE AMOUNT OF WORK I HAD THEM DO I PROBABLY SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN CHARGED A SERVICE CALL. ON THE OTHER HAND I WAS TOLD IN ADVANCE THAT THERE WOULD BE A TRIP CHARGE AND $40 IS A REASONABLE AMOUNT THESE DAYS.

THEY ARE VERY GOOD.

REKEYED OUR HOME AND MY HUSBANDS OFFICE. FIXED OLD LOCK THAT WAS STICKING. PRICES WERE AVERAGE, I LIKED HIM, FEEL LIKE I CAN TRUST HIM. WOULDN'T WORRY ABOUT HIM COMING BACK UNLESS I CALLED HIM FOR MORE WORK.
