I dropped two expensive dresses off for dry cleaning. They did not get the smell out of the dress. I asked them to re-dry clean them. They used their "professional opinion" and washed and dried them in an industrial washer and dryer. This caused them to have pulls on the hook & eye enclosures, as well as shrunk them down almost one dress size. Their only response was to have me come in wearing the dresses to provide them an opportunity to re-tailor the dress. These were custom made dresses, and I do not trust to anyone but the original designer. The bottom line is I asked them to dry clean them, not wash them. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.

BROUGHT IN SEVERAL DRESS SHIRTS AND A NEW BABY OUTFIT. OUR OLD DRY CLEANER BROKE THE BUTTONS ON THE DRESS SHIRTS. WITHOUT BEING ASKED, BALLANTYNE CLEANERS REPLACED ALL OF THE BROKEN BUTTONS WITHOUT BEING ASKED OR ANY CHARGE. MY BABY HAS SENSITIVE SKIN AND THIS IS THE ONLY DRY CLEANER I KNOW OF THAT DOES NOT USE ANY CHEMICALS. THE CLOTHES ARE SOFT ENOUGH FOR MY 10 MONTH OLD SON. THEIR PRICES ARE ON PAR WITH OTHER CLEANERS (NOT THE CHEAPEST, BUT NOT THE MOST EXPENSIVE EITHER) BUT THEIR SERVICE IS OUTSTANDING AND THE OWNERS ARE INCREDIBLY FRIENDLY TOO.

BALLANTYNE CLEANERS IS FANTASTIC. THEY'RE PROFESSIONAL AND PLEASANT, AND THEY EVEN PROVIDE ORGANIC DRY CLEANING ON PREMISES AT THE SAME PRICES AS OTHER LOCAL CLEANERS. THEY HAVE GOOD TECHNOLOGY (FOR TRACKING CUSTOMERS AND ITEMS) AND GIVE DISCOUNTS TO LOCAL NEIGHBORHOODS. (THEY'RE LOCATED IN THE SAME PLAZA AS EARTH FARE.)
