The process went quickly and I felt very comfortable that my documents were shredded as promised. We pulled up to the mobile site and were handed a large trash bin to put our documents inside. The gentleman servicing us was very pleasant and willing to answer all of our questions.  Within 15 minutes we were on our way home!

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!  I had called around to get someone ASAP as my painter was coming and I needed to get rid of many boxes of old business records.  Not only was it a lot more money with other companies I called,  they couldn't come for several days.  When I called Automated Shredding they came the same day and their price was excellent!!  I even found another box after he had turned the machine off and was in his truck to leave.  He was very accommodating and didn't seem to be put out that he wasn't through.

It went extremely well. He arrived the time they stated.  Bob was very polite, explained what he was doing while the machine was shredding, as we watched.  The cost was very reasonable.  To top it off - he gave us a "Certificate of Destruction" signed by himself & my husband. It states they are Certified for on-site destruction of all the materials described in the work order, (which was, of couse, our paper work).  WE WERE VERY PLEASED!

The driver arrived as promised. he introduced himself and got right to work. He emptied approximately 15 boxes of files into his bin in 2 trips and shredded them while I was present. The whole process took about 20 minutes.

They came on time and did the job quickly.

Everything was excellent.  After reading about services on Angie's List I opted to drive to their location for drive up destruction as this was a one time household purge.  I called earlier in the week and spoke to Barbara.  She gave me information re: dates/times available and Saturday morning was most convenient for me.  She gave me directions also.  We went this morning. Robert greeted us when we pulled up and helped us unload the boxes.  Our papers filled the big 95 gal bin with a little room to spare, we watched it being dumped and shredded in the portable shredding truck.  When we were finished we got a certificate of destruction.  The whole thing took less than 15 minutes.  We would definitely recommend this to others.  The $35 cost was well worth the time saved if I had shred this amount at home, I didn't have to worry about staples, paper clips, bindings, etc. and certainly it would have worn out my shredder.  Even though we drove about 45 minutes it was very convenient and a cost savings.

I called to confirm a date and time. 
Left a message and had a return call within 5 minutes. 
Barbara explained the service and cost then said it would be available Sat from 10am to Noon.  She then asked if that time would work for me. When I said yes she confirmed I had the correct address and asked if I had any other questions. 
When I showed up today, there were two others before me.  The work went fast, Robert helped me with getting boxes out of my trunk. 
When I went to pay my name and phone number was on a list that was checked off.  
I will definitely use them again for shredding documents.

The initial scheduling had a 'vague' sense to it -- I called twice, Bob was very nice, courteous, knew his stuff -- but because he was not in the office --out on a job-- and no one else was either he could never actually see the schedule to give a true confirmation.  Bob did do his best to assure me that they would come on Oct. 15th between 9 and 9:15 am.  He was unable to reply to my emails that he asked I send (sent two). Bob did alert me to the fact that their person in the office was out for a medical reason for a few days.  This is the only reason that I graded them overall as a "B" - would like to have given an "A" but honestly, scheduling is the worst part of any service and wondering all weekend if they would really show up Monday morning was no fun.

Automated Shredding handles the document management/destruction for the company I work for. Bob was in the office a few weeks back and he and I began to discuss all the records my family had accumulated over the years and what I could do with them. I never thought he would come to my home. Bob and his team arrived at my home on Saturday. His team was very polite and neat, they removed the boxes from our upstairs office and finished the work in just under an hour. It's rare to have an owner so involved in making sure the customer is happy. Great Company. I highly recommend them.
