A few months a go I purchased a 2007 Cadillac. Every time I filled my car up with gas it would not start. I went to a place i used to go and they could not find the problem. They could only guess the fuel pump was bad. Tat would be almost $1000.00. I didn't want to just try that. I went back to the dealer I purchased the car from. The called Auto Tune Total Car Care and told the owner the problem. He said what he thought it was but would check it for $85.00. We took the car to them that day. After only a few hours they called and said I had a bad emissions valve and the repair would be $175. I gave them the OK. When I went to pick up the car i had another surprise. I thought the total was $175 plus the $85 for checking it out. The owner told me that was only if they didn't do the repair. I only owed $175. I have found my new mechanic!

They did not charge me for plugging the hole in the tire. The last time I had a paying service was for an oil change and the price was about $45. They are very professional and upfront with me. The owner gave me good advice which actually saved me a good deal of money when I traded in my older car. When he works on your car he gives you both the good and bad news as well as giving you suggestions. If he is not able to do the work he refers you to other companies he knows.

I have been using Auto Tune for many years for anything that I need to have completed with my car.  The are very fair on the cost.  They take me into the shop and show me what is wrong as opposed to just telling me what is wrong.  I have been able to get the old/bad parts when I requested also.  This is a business where most people take the word of a professional because they don't have the knowledge.  I try to do as much work to my own car as I can because I like to learn, its always good to save money if you can, and I can know if someone is being dishonest with me.  I trust these guys 100% with my car.  I have sent many people to them and will continue to do so.

They are wonderful people and are very professional - I love them. They gave me a discount this last time around for the oil change. I don?t worry about the price because they are good to me.

Took my wife?s 2000 Chevy Cavalier Z24 to Auto Tune Total Car Care in January to have the headlights serviced. The low beams where not working at all. This shop did some good work to her car in the past, so I thought they would be able to fix the problem. I paid $236.97 to have the headlights serviced and to have a left front turn signal lamp replaced. They replaced the headlamp switch in the dash. But they broke the hanging clips for the left front turn signal housing. They admitted to breaking the hanging clips and ordered now ones to be replaced at a later date. However after a day of driving, the headlight low beams stopped working again. We took the car back, they looked it over and said it needed a new wiring harness to be ordered from a Chevy dealer. They ordered the part and scheduled a time for replacement in 3 days. That day came and they claimed they had no part from the dealer. They reordered and we rescheduled. One week later, no part in sight. The explanation, the dealer ordered the wrong part again. We called and asked them to reorder and call us back. A few weeks later, I called and asked about the part, they said they couldn?t get the right part and told us to go to the dealer. I ask if they can give me the part number, they told me he didn?t know and to go to the dealer. Now if someone claimed to order a part 3 times, it seems logical that person would write down the part number. They also claimed they told my wife this the last time she called, which wasn?t true. Current situation: I paid $236.97 to fix low beam headlights that still don?t work. Oh, by the way, they never replaced the hanging clips they broke on the left side. Auto Tune just duck taped it in place!
