We love Dr. Wirsing.  We met her shortly after moving to the area when our daughter had a fever and ear infection.  We then decided to continue to see her as our primary physician and my littlest has been seeing her since he was born (newborn, 1 month, 2 month, 4 month, and 6 month visits).  I find her to be very friendly, interact with the children well, and very relatable.  She is a mother as well, so I find that she understands the joys and challenges associated with each age and has good suggestions, encouragement, and overall comraderie.  We met Dr. Dorsey when our oldest (6) had a camp injury - Nursemaid's elbow.  Dr. Wirsing saw us, but requested Dr. Dorsey to also take a look at our son's arm because she did not feel confident that it had re-located properly (our son was hysterical and trying to convince us it was fine so we wouldn't touch it, so that made the situation even more difficult).  They offered us an orthopedic consult if we felt the injury was not healing properly and we were able to get through quickly on the phone the following day and arrange a same day appointment with the orthopedist.  The record transfer was smooth and the injury was a complex case of Nursemaid's and required two specialists to get it back in place, so I understand why Dr. Wirsing and Dr. Dorsey were not successful.  We also met Dr. Hight - she was the assigned pediatrician that saw us in the hospital.  She had an excellent bedside manner, answered our questions, and handled our discharge quickly.  Unfortunately, Dr. Wirsing was on maternity leave when I needed to bring my youngest in for his 9-month well check, so we decided to schedule that visit with Dr. Pochick.  The office got us in quickly for our visit, but I was not impressed with Dr. Pochick.  She was not particularly friendly and did not seem receptive to answering questions.  She asked whether he was clapping or waving or anything and seemed put-off when I jokingly said that he wasn't clapping because we don't really "clap much" around the house.  I also explained that he was waking once a night and I was nursing him.  She said, "If you keep attending to him at night, he will keep waking up".  I'm not an opponent of cry-it-out or the Ferber method, but I was really surprised by that statement.  At 9 months, I feel that if he wakes up and is looking for me, then I will go in and comfort him.  I also explained that he shares a room with his 3yo sister and so we try to minimize how many children are woken up if the baby wakes up.  I did not have a good experience during that visit and do not plan to see her again.  I'm hoping that Dr. Wirsing is back in time for his 1-year visit, otherwise, I will try to make an appointment with either Dr. Hight or Dr. Dorsey.  The only negative issue I had with billing was that somehow my oldest and youngest had the appropriate insurance on their account, but my middle child had the wrong insurance and it took several calls and an in-person visit to straighten out the billing from her 3-year old well visit.  I was surprised that they couldn't link up the family in their system so insurance changes could be applied to the whole family and not cause such confusion.  Overall, I am happy with the office, availability, paperwork, and especially with Dr. Wirsing.

Arboretum pediatrics is wonderful and we love Dr. Dorsey. He is incredibly thorough and has a great bedside manner.

If we need for an appointment the same day, we usually get one without problems. They are just nice people. I have used different doctors there.

Dr. Dorsey is wonderful. He does a great job of explaining everything and is very engaging with both me and my son.

He's really, really great with my son. He's just very good with his demeanor with the baby. He's very comforting and thoroughly pleased with the baby until he's not just like a stick in the mud kind of thing.

Dr. Knight is great great great! Our whole family goes to see Dr. Knight (wife, kids and me). I have been to lots of doctors because of a foot issue and she has been the best. She has taken the time to understand the issue and talked through all the options/test we could look at. Here nurse is very sweet and quick. She really cares and takes the time for her patients (several times she has called us after hours to get us test results or ask us a question) top top ranked in my book!!

The doctors are very good with the children. I take my child there all the time. They are very good pediatricians. They have a lot of doctors so they generally treat everyone.

The nurse staff at Arbo Ped's is fantastic. I'm always greeted by them with a smile on their face. They're so calm especially when there is a kid who is not excited to be at the Dr.'s office. Dr. Dews isn't even our "main dr" and met with us at 4:45pm in the middle of the week when the office closes at 5pm. While there for my sons finger, he noticed he was a bit "wheezy" and check him out. He ended up having a respiratory infection and need to get on med's for that. He also had the nursing staff follow up with a call 1, 2, and 3 days post-visit. I'm very pleased and don't plan on ever leaving that practice!

They are thorough and take time to talk to you. I feel like they answer our questions and provide good care. I will use them again in the future.

He is really good and the best. He does an awesome job; help keep our kids well and always available during or after hours. 

I would give them all A's.

The visit with Dr. Dews went very well. He was excellent with our kids and he answered all our questions. He did not rush through the examination. The staff was friendly. Highly recommend.

Dr. Satterfield was professional, kind, and excellent.

She is excellent!

Dr. Williams is always honest, pleasant, and totally trustworthy. She has caught illnesses that have had very few symptoms and treated them effectively. I recommend her to friends and am confident that they will have the same good relationship with her as my family has.

Everyone in the office works great with kids. She is always very comfortable when she goes into the office and sees the group of doctors. They just remodeled the office so it is nice and clean. They repainted so it is bright, colorful, and kid friendly. They are good about being punctual most of the time, however they can run behind.

They provide excellent medical care and refer when it's appropriate.

He is very calm and reassuring to a first time mom.

He is very personable, funny, and kind. My daughter and son really love going there just to see him. He is really a fantastic doctor.

We felt comfortable with her and would like to continue with her. She has been a help with all my daughter's needs and is attentive.

Dr. Satterfield is the best. He is so funny. He has the best relationship with my kids. He spends time with the parents. He is just wonderful.
