Ameriserv Garage Doors and Openers

Used this company through Home Depot. They called me the next morning to schedule and came out the same day. Work was completely quickly and efficiently. Josh was very professional, explained things to me, and had things working in no time. Would definitely recommend them!

Got immediate reply to my request for a repair and time was set. They came and looked at the correct type ( MFG, size, design and color), uncovered a few issues with some parts ( hinges and rollersi) that were worn out) and set a date to order, and install. They were a few hours late to begin the installation and when they arrived discovered that garage door panel they had prepared to install was not properly grooved to fit the adjoining panel ; so, they quickly went back to their base and brought back the correct panel and completed all installations satisfactorily.

Had bad service with another vendor who took a look at the garage door & said had to order part to repair. Two days later they call me and say they refuse to only repair & i have to replace. I called ameriserv & told them what was going on & they said they'd come and do the repair no problem. Technician was very nice and helpful. Was willing to do just the repair, but took the time to check the entire system anyway & showed me that the problem was only the beginning of the damage that was in the system. Told me they'd be happy to just do the repair, but would recommend to replace the opener. I went ahead with the replacement. They didn't have the materials to replace, so came back next business day and got it done very quickly. Tech gave me recommendations to help keep the coil working longer with basic maintenance, which i never knew to do. Even for service calls three weeks later when i somehow mucked up a sensor, they were able to help over the phone. My parents also used them for their door and have nothing but great things to say.

I thought I would need a new garage door remote control but I was wrong and Ameriserv- Bob was very honest and did not charge me for one.

I called AmeriServe for service and advised them of my ordeal.  I needed an emergency repair because the door that leads to my house does not lock and is not bolted so I didn't feel safe having to leave the garage open especially at night.  I was relieved that someone was able to come immediately.  Tray, the technician, was there in no time.  I was relieved when he told me the garage can be repaired and he quoted me around $190.  I was ecstatic!  Tray was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes.  He did a little more than replaced the track wheel.  He also cleaned out the track and re-oiled it.  He adjusted the door and made other adjustments for  smoother and quieter operation.
The next day I called Bob, the owner, and thanked him for his quick response, great repair and fair price!  And I'm putting this on Angie's List to let everyone know.  If your garage door needs repairing call AmeriServe!  They'll be there in no time!

It was a Saturday and we needed it done asap because it didn't open. They were able to come out the same day. We were very pleased with them.

The service was really good. I would give them all A's.
