Beautifully done work, great price for tires and overall package, tires installed perfect and road noise is down to nothing, I have put 3,000 miles on the tires and still the work has continued to be great! Mary's recommendation was spot on for my car.

These folks fixed what another shop screwed up and the Lexus dealer couldn't repair and saved me a ton of money in the process. Another shop in the area damaged our AC system while installing a new alternator and then could not diagnose the problem. They sent us to the Lexus dealer who after $825 in diagnosis and "repairs" still did not fix the issue and told us we needed a whole new AC system (for an additional $2402) due to the damage caused by the other shop. After searching around, I found Almar and took my car to these guys and they figured it out and fixed the issue in the same day and no AC parts were even needed. They just fixed some broken wiring and I was good to go! Saved me thousands literally. 
They are super friendly, completely upfront and honest with you every step of the way and just a great customer service oriented shop all around. I was looking for a reputable shop with the knowledge and skills to get the job done right and believe me, I have found it! A+.

They are timely. They give us the estimate before the work is done. This is the sixth or seventh time we used them and their work quality is really sound. They are always very professional. We found them on Angie’s List and ever since we switched to them, we have been quite satisfied. We take both of our vehicles there when they need work.

THey performed the work while I waited and it was a pleasant experience all around.

I have been going to Almar for over a year now.  They are always professional and get the work done quickly.  They always call to let me know what work needs to be done and what may need to be done later.  I never feel like they are working on something that doesn't need to be worked on.  Honest service and their prices are realistic.  Plus they are a short walk to the light rail, so easy to drop off the car in the morning, go to work and pick it up after.

Took car back when part came in.They put it in..a/c fixed.Car was ready by my lunch hour. I left on vacation a few days later. A/C stopped working while I was gone! Called them when I got back. Took car in. They said the part had been defective. They replaced it...no charge. It took a few appts but all is well now. I have used this auto service several times and have always been happy. It is convenient to my work as well.

I made an appt and took the car in. I explained it was making a noise like an airplane taking off but only when the car got up to a certain speed. They took it out for a drive,concluded what the problem was,ans fixed it.  It was ready when I finished work that day.

This visit was minimal, but on a previous visit, same car, they put on new brake shoes and adjusted the brakes, as well as doing a tune up.

He's always been very trustworthy!  He does good work and stands behind it!  We think very highly of Andy, the owner.  We recommend him to all of our congregation and everyone!

I had purchased tires at Discount tire and needed to have an alignment done. The appointment was easily made and the staff was friendly. While I was there,  I  found out that you can purchase tires at TireRack.com and have them shipped to Almar's and they will balance and install them. I haven't tried that yet but will consider it on my next set of tires. I would definitely use them for other car repairs in the future.

Almar performed excellent troubleshooting and discovered that two
problems existed - a bad switch and a stuck motor.    The switch was
replaced and the motor was unstuck.  The 4X4 is operating with no
problems.  Very impressed with coordinator Sean and the two mechanics
that performed the work.  All were very helpful and took pride in their
work.

I wrote a review in 1/2012 about strut work Almar did on my car more than a year earlier.  I had given Almar a C rating because it seemed they did not get rid of the intermittent issue I experienced which they had diagnosed as the car needing new struts.  To make a long story short, in response to the C-rating, Almar sent me a letter inviting me back so they could take a 3rd look at the "problem".  They guarantee their workmanship and, as I said before, they are very friendly.  They inspected the work they did more than a year earlier and took the car for a spin, but could not detect an issue. Later in the day I took the car for a spin with one of their workmen and I could not detect the sound that I thought indicated a problem.  As I said before, the issue was intermittent and those are the hardest things to repair.  My point here is that Almar stands behind its work so if you are not satisfied do not give up on them as I had done previously.  I will go back to them if I have another issue.

Almar diagnosed a noise in the front of the car as needing strut replacement. So I had the front struts replaced, but within maybe two weeks the problem was back.  I went back to Almar and they were very professional in addressing the problem: they said that they had accidentally left a part out of the assembly (I think the bearings) and they would put the A-team on it right away (as if it was the fault of the B-team).  They quickly repaired the problem, but within a few months the problem was back. Either the problem was misdiagnosed or they just couldn't get it right. They are very nice people and maybe for easier problems they are fine.

I trust Almar's to repair and maintain our family's 3 vehicles. We have been going there for less than a year. My husband found them while was looking for tires. He purchased the tires from them and they installed the tires. I have been there for an oil change, brake change,  and when I had problems with my battery.

Quick service. Very personal and friendly. Enjoyed working with them. Waited while the work was done.

Pricing was in line with non-dealership pricing. Not exceptionally cheap but acceptable pricing that I am happy to pay to develop a long term relationship with someone who will know my vehicles and I feel will be honest. 

This past week I had a problem with my car not starting. I called them and talked to them about what could be wrong and they were super nice and we determined I may be able to get the car started by jumping the battery.  I was able to get into the shop that day and waited while they did the replacement of  the battery.

I would highly recommend Almar Auto.

Overall, they are great. They were honest. The price is very reasonable and they do not charge highly.

They did the work promptly and at a much lower price than the Honda place on South Blvd., for whom I have a fair level of distrust. I did have to go back to them several months later for an additional adjustment on the struts and it seems like they got it absolutely right at no extra cost. Almar was very courteous and they called back to see if everything was OK. I would definitely consider them if I need work on any of my 3 cars.

They were recommended by Discount Tire, where I bought the tires. After checking them out on Angie's List (A-rated), I called and made an appointment for later the same day. They did the alignment promptly - no problems. It appears the alignment was done properly, though only time and tire wear will tell for sure.

We've never had a bad experience. We've always had a very pleasant experience. I've never met a more honest and forthright group of auto service specialists. Fair pricing and no need for repeat work, when they fix something, it is always done right the first time.
