Contractor delivered and replaced roof before providing us with written estimate. When I expressed my concern, I was told by Tony not to worry, a verbal agreement is all thats needed. It was clearly stated that we are to go and must pick out a 30 year shingle because their company won't even touch a 20 year shingle and so we did. We kept asking for a written estimate, "when are we going to get a written estimate?" They did an awesome job on the roof but i was uneasy about the way it was handled and did not want to let them do anything else. Our insurance comp paid for the repairs needed that occured from the tornado from April 2011. They clearly showed the break-down of how much was for the roof and how much was for the inside ceiling work. Well we ask for the bill for the roof and was told to pay the 2,574.38. We wrote the check for the amount and it was cashed through our bank. About 2 weeks later the owner Angelo starts to call my husband after finding out how much the total check was and started to demand the remainder amout of the check. He has since then contacted a lawyer to threaten us by putting a lien on the house and filing a lawsuit to ask a judge to order that our house be sold and that the amount we owe be paid from the proceeds of the sale of the house. When I tried to talk to the owner Angelo and explain that it was obvious that he should not be paid for work he did not do, he answered by saying that it what was in the verbal agreement and that the price was higher because we were the one that decided to go with a 30 yr shingle and because of this it was more expensive and they had to replace a few sheets of plywood on the roof.T He also claims that he tried to contact us over and over to arrange to come in to do the ceiling repair work which is NOT true. I really feel like this company is thriving off of peoples home insurances and they are scammers. I pray they can be stopped. The only written contract that we did recieve (listing no prices) stated that,:* Contractor agrees to meet insurance adjuster and he was late for that. he almost missed him when the adjuster was leaving and happened to see All Pro coming into the neighborhood and turned around and came back to my house to meet with him.* Money will only be due when work is fully complete.* The homeowner agrees to pay only for the amount of the Insurance estimate. We have contacted OUR attorney and will meet with him this week and I will keep you posted.

The price was very good. It was almost half of what another company had quoted me. I haven't seen the work personally, because I'm out of town. However, I've seen pictures of it, and looks very good. He kept contact with me throughout the job and sent me pictures. I was very pleased with his work.
Description of Work: They made concrete steps in my front yard.
He signed my lien waiver stating all the subs had been paid before I gave him the final payment. He did not pay the electrical contractor which came after me with a lien on my property. I talked to Angelo, the owner of All Pro, and he said he would take care of it and he didn't. I had to pay the electrical contractor $3000 and now I am taking All Pro to small claims court. Everything with the company was fine except he did not pay this sub-contractor.
Description of Work: They rehabbed a house putting in all new electrical, painting, flooring, and did some roofing repairs. He used all subs for the work, which was excellent.

Response from All Pro Builders Construction
We hired a electrical contractor to do work our company on mutiple contracts . We had two projects where the contractor had not had final inspections six months after we had paid in full, we informed the contractor no further payments would be recieved until all work was finaled out . The contractor called the member and told her he would file a lien, when the member called us we advised her the contractor was not paid because of multiple projects that had not been finaled, and we would handle this , We filed a complaint we the electrical license board to force the contractor to finale these projects, the contractor was contacted by the electrical board and told to finale the projects , during this process , the member paid the contractor $3000.00 dollars, we had no ideal she had paid this amount, Any vendor we have if there are projects that have been paid in full and not finaled we with hold any further payments to force them to finish work , the contractor never placed a lien on the member project because he knew why further payments had not been paided , The company A&B Electrical , you can check the electrical boards records and you can view a copy of our complaint, the amount the member paid was over the amount of our agreemen with A&B , In the end we repaid the member the $3000.00 dollars she paid the contractor, even as we felf she should have listen to us on this matter, Any Company we feel would have demanded completion of projects that had been paid in full, before final fundswould be paid we hate that this happened,

I was not satisfied with the quality of the work and I would not hire him again. The quality of work is not up to my standards and I had someone else complete the job.
