They did the work fine. I think the issue for me was that they wanted a lot more money than I was expecting. I was just satisfied with getting some of the limbs removed that I thought were blocking some sunlight on my yard. Other than that, there's no problem. There were no additional costs. When I asked them about taking down the tree, I just basically got that hope in to cut some of my costs in taking down the tree. I found out that their pricing was rather expensive compared to what I had in the past. I'm not dissatisfied but they're a little more expensive than what I intend to pay for doing the whole job as opposed to doing the partial. They hauled it off. I hardly even noticed they were here. They came when I was at work. Basically, I didn't know it until I looked up and saw the tree limbs. There was no mess in the yard. They were pretty punctual.

They were supposed to also grind a stump and said they could not do so because the grinder they needed was no longer available. So we have a stump we will have to pay someone else to remove. They came at a different time than scheduled. They didn't know which trees were to come down. Confusion on their sketch. They were fine with the tree removal and limb removal.

Trimmed some trees well, others were barely touched. Bought $500 worth of trimming at $250. Got somewhere less than $500 worth of work. Did not follow-up as promised.

Once the crew arrived they were professional and efficient. They were in and out in about two hours which included clean up. I should have gotten bids for the work before buying the Angie's teaser ($249 for $500 of work). The $875 quoted for the work seemed high for the work done. The $625 I actually paid in total was probably what it would have costed if I had't had the Angie's coupon. I'm probably done with the teasers on Angie's List.

Crew arrived on time. 4 Trees were cut and removed in no time. Also 3 new trees were planted. The crew cleaned up all the debris. Everything went well except for the stump grinding. I was told that stump grinding will be done on a different day. But I had to follow up quite a few times before the stump grinding was done on the 3 trees. For the fourth tree, I was given a reason that getting the stump machine thru the bushes may not be advisable which I agreed to.
The issue started when one of the newly planted trees wasn't growing healthy. I reached out to the provider(back in June 2014) that the leaves were turning brown. He replied back asking if I am watering it regularly. I responded that I water regularly but never heard back from him. I made several attempts to reach out to him by phone, message. But no response. The messages sent to him were thru Angies List "Message Center" and could be tracked.
I paid $400 for each tree. He assured one year warranty on the trees. But didn't care to stop by to check out the trees or replace them.

The workers arrived on time and climbed the trees using ropes - no spikes or trucks. They moved all of my stuff from underneath and quickly got to work. They did a great job ? not allowing any branches to hit the house and they cleaned up everything before they left. Nate was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Contacted Nate Rice of All Points Tree Service and set up an appointment for Wednesday, March 18. Nate arrived promptly at 10:00 AM as scheduled. We looked at the two dead pines and Nate gave me his price. He said that he could get a crew out sometime during the following week. This was great as the trees were on my property and near the line, in danger of falling on my neighbor's shed, should they fall in that direction. I was surprised to get a call from Nate that Friday (the 20th), asking if it would be OK to have the crew come out that day! Nate called around 3:45 PM and the crew showed up around 4:15. They set to work cutting down both trees very safely and efficiently. I was very impressed with the crew and their good natured banter with each other. (My experience is that when people can kid and joke with each other, that is usually a sign of a good crew.) They picked up their tools,we shook hands all around, they thanked me for the opportunity to do the work, and they were on the road by 5:30. Very professional and a pleasure to work with.

Nate and his guys are excellent. I purchased a new home, which had nearly 60 years of tree and vine growth along the property line. In less than 2 days, Nate and his team had the yard opened up and sunny. I highly recommend this provider and will absolutely use them again.

All went very well. did dead-wooding on Monday, following the previous Wed consultation/evaluation. Came back end of week to do deep root fertilization. Nate was easy to work with. Feel good about his expertise and evaluation of oak tree, I thought was in distress. He said is should be fine, with proper care. Will use him again for tree maintenance items. Definitely getting him to band oak tree in the fall.

Review of: All Points Tree Service, Inc. experienced Arborist Nate Rice. May I first say, I don't proceed with much I do in Home
Maintenance without first researching what to anticipate through consultation, published materials, the internet, as well as, the reactions & reviews for the potential service on this Website.
During the bid process, Nate was laid back, he didn?t over complicate the site visit, was willing to listen to (and hear) my needs, resulting in a ?not pushy? estimate process.
Prior to choosing his service, I received more than one bid, as best as one can for?tree service. While in review of the sufficient bids (with a vast range of $1,000), Nate called to check back with me. I honestly explained the range of the estimates. Through discussion, I felt he understood my budget and needs and we arrived at "the price" and weather tentative "date". (May I interject one other bid came with too much information, an additional $1300 side service for pesticide injections that I didn?t feel necessary after research of minor scale on Leyland trees, the total removal of a tree that had perfect life?living, and the pen and contract were just too ?in my face?. )
This is how the day rolled: Nate and crew were on time with an 8-9 range, took 30 minutes for lunch, raked and cleaned as
they worked, and stayed until job completion, after 5PM.
A previous reviewer indicated Nate did nothing beyond the (dollar sign) ? to-do-list? but would hire him again with an
?A? rating. Ironically, my experience was completely opposite! Nate, free of charge removed a Leyland, cut a Eucalyptus limb
hanging over the driveway, added a free tree injection & fertilization, walked the yard educating me on what types of different fertilizers to use on our various shrubs, & left enough mulch for @20 trees. That amount of mulch would have been big bucks!
Other than what I have already said, the crew went through each tree removing dead limbs and numerous large limbs high
in the Willow Oaks that had grown over my neighbor?s roof, as well as, my own. The crew took great attention to detail to ensure the limbs were properly secured as they were lowered between windows, brick walls, and a carport.
Nate was in sync, he understood, he got it!!! Communication is so very important! I did not want an extreme crown reduction. I wanted what was necessary for the health and beauty of the trees. I wanted lower limbs growing downward removed to enhance sunlight. I also was very pleased to know he uses OMRI practices. In addition to being a knowledgeable Arborist, Nate is a naturalist. Why kill or harm if you can do the same job naturally. In this I mean use of horticultural oils and insecticidal soap which are environmentially safe for use around mammals and birds. Anytime, I have a use for his services I will be calling Nate. Just to be clear, I am a fan! Thanks Nate for making the process stress free. Rating: A+ ?to infinity!

Nate is knowledgeable about trees, but he does not do a single thing extra beyond what he has priced out.
It seems in this day of service-oriented businesses, most companies I have dealt with go beyond their quoted deal in an effort to create good will and be allowed my return business.
He priced out a job for several trees in the yard that ended up being way out of my price range so we narrowed down the work to be done on a single tree in the most need of attention.
The tree was nicely taken care of and the yard cleaned up, however, they left a huge mess on the roof... many limbs and tons of saw dust. When I asked him about it, he said for liability sake, his crew does not touch roofs. Understandable, but I would have thought
he would have explained this would happen to begin with. At the very least I expected that they lean a ladder against the roof and blow off the majority of the saw dust. We were stunned that there was no attempt to clean it up before they left.
He offered to return and use my ladder to blow off the roof, but my son was on his way to do it, so I told him no.
We had originally planned to use him in the spring for another tree, but it does not seem as if he needs the business.

Nate knows trees and is professional and very easy to work with. I have used this company two other times to remove and prune trees. The first time I used them I took quotes from several tree services. Some wanted to do drastic and unnecessary clearing of trees to bump up their quotes. Nate was conservative and respectful of our existing trees and gave the common sense and informed reasons for what he recommended.

Nate was a pleasure to work with. He's very knowledgeable and provided a wealth of information about all our landscaping, not just the trees. I would highly recommend working with him and his team.

After I found the listing on Angie's list for All Points Tree Service I went to their website and sent an email inquiring about getting an estimate. Nate called me within an hour and we scheduled a consultation. He was on time for our appointment and both knowledgable and professional. I ultimately chose Nate's company over the other company I had consulted with because Nate seemed most concerned about the health of the trees, and what my trees needed specifically, as apposed to just removing whatever I asked.
On the day the service was scheduled Nate and his team arrived on time and went right to work. They were all professional and the work was performed exactly as Nate and I had discussed. They worked quickly and cleaned up afterward.
I am very pleased with the work that was performed and would highly recomend Nate and his company.

I had a great experience with Nate! He came out to give me an estimate the very day that I called, and his price was the lowest of all estimates. His team was able to come out the same week, and the entire job was done in about two hours - except for a small amount of wood dust on the street, I would never have known he'd been there! In fact, my neighbor hired the team to take out a pine tree in his backyard while they were finishing my job. Will definitely use them again!

The company arrived on time, performed the job very quickly, and cleaned the area for any debris.
