Overall poor experience. The company told us the day before the expected move that they would be delayed. Poor communication. Then the day before the adjusted move date they again told us they wouldn't be there that day. Poor communication. They did, however, still deliver the contents on the adjusted date. However, the washing machine came in damaged as if it were dropped. The owner gave us $150 in a refund. It should have been more, but I just wanted to be through with these guys. I would NOT use them again.

It went really well. Dylan and Tim loaded and unloaded, including setting up the bed, in exactly 3 hours as contracted. They were very courteous, worked quickly and carefully and never took a break. Chris and Dylan also kept me informed before and during the move. I paid when they finished and was immediately emailed a receipt. I’ve moved many times; this was one of the best. (And got a special rate through an Angie’s List Deal.)

My wife and I had a wonderful experience with this moving company. Chris was great to work with scheduling the work that spanned a couple of days, and the movers themselves were all very efficient, thoughtful and careful with our belongings. The move went well. Movers showed up right on time. They took care with our furniture. We'd done a lot of the loading and packing of boxes and smaller items ourselves and left only heavy and large items for the movers. The job took just over three hours. Both men worked hard. Only complaint is some scratches on the floors at both houses. Also, it would have been good to know that $200 in cash was required day of move. This could've been explained over the phone prior. However, overall, a positive experience.

The team was great. They were so polite and hard working...it was tough work. I expected the move would take longer than the advertised special. I was happy I requested a third mover, but could have probably gone faster with a fourth mover. Something to keep in mind. There was minimal damage to my house. They were careful to avoid bumping any walls and scratching the floors. They were very careful and mindful of my things. Would definitely hire Sawyer's team again.

They repaired the teak furniture, but then, despite a contract requiring them to reimburse for replacement costs, Sawyers has dragged their feet and refused to reimburse me for the repair to the computer display and refused to clean the side of the couch that was stained, giving every excuse under the sun. Reviews on Yelp indicated that Sawyers Carolina Nationwide Moving had lost their BBB accreditation at some point. It would have been better had I checked on that before hiring them. The team completed the move without any major issues. The effort estimate was not correct and a delay in arriving in the morning resulted in the move being completed at 11:30 PM. The crew and I were exhausted. A team of three instead of two people would have been more appropriate.

Great experience! I got quotes from 6-7 different movers and Sawyers was my obvious choice; they had the most reviews on Angie's List and also had the lowest price. We scheduled a window (9-10a) and they called at 9a to say they would be here within half hour (arrived on time). Montee went over the paperwork/formalities with me while William started moving things to the truck. They wrapped/padded/loaded my items for an hour and then I met them at our new address (half hour drive) where they unloaded everything in half hour. Some companies would charge hourly but tack on an extra "travel charge" or "third floor charge" to inflate the base price. These costs are, of course, built-in to Sawyers rates but they still come in lower than the competition; Sawyer charged $115/hr with a min 2hrs and there were no hidden/extra fees. Some companies also start the clock when the truck leaves the office and stop the clock with the truck returns, but Sawyer (along with a few other companies I contacted) start the clock upon arrival and stop the clock when they finish unloading. My only two "issues" were rather minor. It was a rainy day when we moved and the truck seemed to have some leaks so a few items got damp. I also wasn't told until the movers arrived that the first $200 of payment had to be in cash. I stopped at an ATM on the way but it would have been nice to know ahead of time to be better prepared. Overall a very good experience. Will and Montee were very capable and were able to carefully and efficiently move many items in a short amount of time and pack them safely in the truck. I would definitely look to them first for any future move.

Great guys and efficient damage free move. Only thing was that I wish they would email a written confirmation of appointment when it’s booked. Trying to coordinate moves and days off with no written confirmation made me nervous. Overall, great experience and would hire again!

This was the second time that we hired Sawyers to help us move. This was a in-state, Long distance move. (Oak Ridge, NC - Charlotte, NC). I am extremly happy with the service provided by the Sawyers all carolina moving company. Starting with Chris, the owner of the company, who helped me schedule ( infact, he was so understanding and obliging when i requested for pushing the move for 24 hours at the last minute) the move, to all the 3 gentlemen, who helped us move, everyone from the company were extremly courteous, professional and diligent their work and attitude. My heartfelt gratitude and Thanks to Chris, Joe, Timmy and Lenny for making this move as troble free as possible. I would very highly recommend Sawyers to all my friends and family for their moving requirement.

These guys were great! I had higher quotes and lower but just felt like this was the right company. Nothing was damaged and it was done on time. All of the guys were courteous as well which means a lot during a move. I will use Sawyers again when the need arises.

The guys were real nice but they did break some things. They said they do not guarantee anything they do not pack up. They stacked it up fine up to the ceiling and I may use them again.

The men were very professional. Handled everything with care and put everything exactly with I needed it. They even made several attempts to get a piece of furniture in a room, it wouldn't fit, but that was certainly not their fault and I appreciated the effort.
