I don't think there's a more knowledgeable pair of HVAC technicians in Charlotte than Tim and Tyler. Not only was the work done speedily, but they explained the problem with my zone board in a way that I was able to understand. Had I gone with the other guys, I would have had to replace far more than what they recommended. These folks saved me a lot of money and it was a pleasure working with them. I would highly recommend.

Install seemed to go fine other than getting black s*** on my bedding. I decided to go with Air Today because they have a deal with my building for ‘discount pricing’, they are familiar with my building and they were priced less than competitors. A few months after install temps wasn’t holding and it was freezing over. Tech came out and said there was a leak. 2-3 months after that the same thing happens and the tech comes out but just looks at the thermostat. By now, labor and parts warranty is out and I still have a unit that’s not cooling where it should be so I reach out again. Was told I would get scheduled that Monday however no one called or showed up. When I reached my out to the owner he said they had other with no AC they had to handle and would fit me in for $89 service call. During my phone call with Eric, he told me a few things that doesn’t seem accurate- “ My unit will freeze up if I set the temp 20 degrees cooler than outside temp” “ inside humidity below 60-65% is normal” “ there’s no way my unit will cool below 70 degrees without freezing”. I strongly believe my HVAC unit is either faulty or wasn’t proper installed. The lack of service after the sale is not to my standard. I shouldn’t have this many problems with a brand new Trane unit. The one I replaced was 20 years old and I only had 2 issues in that time frame, the last being right before it basically died.

Everything went well, technician was professional and courteous.

Less than 3 years after install the compressor is leaking Freon. What is so distributing is that I had a small 2 many shop install a matching Rheem unit for my downstairs unit 2 years before. The newer unit which was installed by Air Today is now leaking Freon at the compressor but they are saying that it will cost me 2000 for them to figure out what's wrong with the unit that they sold me and installed. I am really concerned with this because this unit should not be leaking because as far as I can tell that means that 1 of 2 things is going on: 1. They sold me a faulty unit. 2. They damaged the unit when they installed it.

less than 3 years later they unit that they installed started leaking Freon all the while my other unit which was installed by some guy that I know a few years earlier is doing fine. Air Today either sold me a faulty unit or they damaged it during the installation and they are not willing to make it right. I would not recommend them.

First thing the service tech tried to do is sell me a more expensive yearly service contract. He was courteous but it was tiring to have to listen to the whole sales pitch only to explain that I simply wanted the AC tune-up that was advertised as $69 per unit. When it came to the downstairs unit I was told it needed 1 lb of R-22 at $233. I discussed with technician and we agreed to have the Freon added. I mentioned Leak Stop and the technician offered to apply that as well.This is where I made the mistake of trusting the company to provide a reasonable price. As it turns out it's available online for $75 but I was charged $300 by Air Today. They contacted me today, they admit that they over charge me, and they recredit it back to me. It was evidently just a software error.

It was good. They had some additional work to do. It was a $100 or so more. They had to replace a part. It was a little expensive for parts. There was just 1 person and it took about an hour and a half. He was very courteous.

They were excellent. We feel that they are very honest, trustworthy and knowledgeable in terms of how their understanding of the system. We will continue to use them.

It went very well. We have a contract with them to come in the spring and fall to come and do routine.check-up. We have used them for fifteen years. We will continue to use them.

After obtaining several estimates to replace 2 HVAC units in our home, we ultimately went with AirToday. Our consultant, Kirk Martin was prompt, professional, honest and provided us with a competitive proposal. The installers were also prompt, knowledgeable and worked
diligently to ensure the install went seamlessly and was mostly completed in one day!  Kirk went above and beyond in taking care of our HVAC needs, including follow up after the install.  We could not have received better customer service.

I was having a lot of problems with my air condition system.  The water kept backing up in the drain pan.  Air Today of Charlotte, NC finally figured out the problem and fixed it.  I had their competitor come in at different times and they would do a temporary fix---a few weeks later---the air would shut off and it was always the same problem---the pan filled up with water.  Air Today sent out Josh, their technician, who was very professional and very knowledgeable.  He knew exactly how to fix the problem.  He replaced and rerouted the drains.  I would definitely recommend Air Today..

This is the second HVAC A/C - Furnace system we have contracted with AirToday to install. The first Carrier system was installed in our downstairs in September 2014. This new HVAC system( July 2016) has been installed in our upstairs. Having had the previous experience with AirToday we knew what to expect...Professionalism, Courtesy, Expertise, Promptness and Competitive Pricing. They delivered on all aspects of this large engagement. Our consultant, Kirk Martin is AWESOME. Kirt always goes above and beyond in taking care of our HVAC needs. He has consistently exhibited the highest degree of true excellence in customer service. Having been a homeowner for the past 30 years I have had the opportunity (sometimes the unfortunate opportunity) to engage with a number of HVAC service companies and NONE has come close to the positive and beneficial engagement we consistently receive from Air Today. I highly recommend this company for any HVAC needs regardless of size or scope.

I called after 5:00 PM on a SUNDAy on a three day holiday weekend! The dispatcher was kind and attentive. I received a call from the tech within 10 minutes! He estimated being at my house - again after hours on a holiday weekend- within 30-45 minutes. He was there in less than 30. Brian diagnosed the problem promptly, offered us options, and did the work expertly.

Everything went great! My ordeal started over the weekend and upon placing the call, Denise responded back and got a tech out to my house in the matter of an hour. The communication over the phone while the tech was on site was extraordinary! From the time of the initial diagnostic visit to the last of the installation, there was constant communication on what was going on as I was not on site as the work is being done. These folks do great work and the professionalism and communication is something that doesn't happen a lot in today's world. I would recommend Air Today to anyone!

Installation was well coordinated as a crane was needed to remove outside unit and set new one. Inside replacement was quick and clean. Matt and his assistant are hard working, dedicated to excellent work and are a pleasure to work with.

They were very professional and courteous. I was very impressed with their?knowledge and skill in all aspects of the process. I would definitely?recommend them to neighbors and friends!??

During the service, Tech suggested a air cleaning system be installed to improve the air quality in our home.  Somewhat skeptical because of similar device installed by previous company, but I did agree to a trial.  Our home has animals so we are conscious of the odor they sometimes bring.  This system is unbelievable.  The house is fresh and pleasant to come home to.

After building a house, we had several issues with the quality of installation and product. Air Today took over our regular maintenance and were very professional and on-time. They also allowed me to watch the repair to better understand how the A/C unit worked and what the problem was. Provided me comfort I wasn't getting ripped off for a repair not needed. Would use them over and over for the trust and professionalism!
