Adams Tile Repair Co. (Mack Adams) recently completed a bathroom refurbishment on my main household bathroom shower, whirlpool deck, & floor. In addition he removed, realigned, & remounted the shower door which had not closed properly for years. I was extremely pleased with the highly professional job done by Mr. Adams. He was very diligent in ensuring that not only the function was restored but also the like-new condition of all of the grouting. Mr. Adams originally re-caulked this shower some 13 years ago. Given the many hundreds of uses this shower has had during this time period it is truly impressive that the shower has gone this long without any maintenance being required. In addition to all this, Mr. Adams is very pleasant to work with & is always concerned that he leaves with a very satisfied customer, which he certainly accomplished. I would give Adams Tile Repair Co. the highest possible A+++ rating and would not hesitate to recommend his services to anyone in need of tile repair.

Mack did a fantastic job restoring 60 year old tile to as good as it has ever looked. We considered redoing the entire bathroom (tearing out the old tile) but the quality and the craftsmanship of the original tile is better than anything we could have replaced it with. Mack is a gentleman and a true craftsman who appreciates quality work and does his absolute best to restore vintage tile. My wife and I are very pleased.

Mack was unfailingly courteous, professional, and punctual. He invariably showed up precisely at the time agreed upon, and suffice it to say that the quality of the work he performed was exemplary. Both of the tiled areas on which he worked now literally look better than they did when new, and all of the previously existing leaks have been tightly sealed. We were completely satisfied with the work performed, and we would recommend Mack's tile repair services enthusiastically!

If there were a grade higher than “A”, I would give it to Mack regarding the outstanding service he provided. He worked tirelessly and was meticulous about every single detail. My tile floors truly look brand new (they are 10 years old). Mack diagnosed and repaired the underlying cause of the broken tiles assuring there will be no future problems. And the grout and tiles? Beyond clean! I have dealt with many service providers over the years and , hands down, Mack has earned top honors.

Outstanding. Mack Adams was able to make the shower stall like new. I've hired other tile companies in the past who could not come close to what Adams Tile was able to do. Grout in kitchen matched perfectly. Don't even bother looking at other companies - hire Adams Tile. Although Adams Tile was is not the least expensive estimate, Mack takes the time to insure the customer is completely satisfied and exceeds their expectations. This all Mack does and he is a true craftsman. I would rate him "A" for "Value" if there was such a category..

He did a beautiful job and really knows his stuff!! Mack went above and beyond to ensure the finished product would look fantastic and would be durable for years to come. He was also very punctual, clean and efficient. We will definitely call him for any tile services needed in the future!

He got the new tile and fixed it. If I am not mistaken he was asking for $200 upfront. I am going to downgrade him on responsiveness because he forgot about me. He took our tile, and that was a little tiny job for a guy like that. So he forgot and I called him back in a week or 2. He fixed it and he came back and charged us less than he was going to since it took him longer. I would use him in the future.

When you call Mack's number, a recording informs you that he is booked out 4-5 weeks. He will likely be out to provide you an estimate much sooner than that, but there are two good reasons his backlog takes him out at least a month: he does impeccable work and he takes his time. Mack remediated a number of problems with initial work done when our house was built 12 years ago, and fixed a really poor, more recent caulk-over-grout job in one shower and a cracked tile in another. We caught the latter just in time - a few more weeks and the water intruding through the crack would have overflowed our drip pan, leaking onto the floor/ceiling below. If $1400 seems like a lot of money for grout and mortar work it is, and Mack said as much when providing our estimate - but he did a LOT of work beyond traditional "patch work", including improving drainage with rebuilt seams, acid washing and resealing water stained travertine, and getting all new work to match the existing. I suspect he sacrificed some margin on our job by staying within his original quote given the time taken (about 12 hours over 5 days), and both showers look like they are brand new. Mack's card reads: "A Craftsman in the World of Tradesmen", which seemed to me a bit haughty at first - it's NOT! Mack even replaced both drain covers, cleaned and snaked the lines, and re-caulked the fixtures to be sure EVERYTHING was perfect as part of the job. He even got so involved in our work, he lost track of time one day and was a little late to his next job!

Mack was on time, worked efficiently, and helped us to feel confident in the work that was done. He would bring us in to show us how things were progressing when he got to critical points, so we felt like we understood just what was going on and what would be done next. He even went ahead and sealed up a few other parts of both bathrooms that we didn't know needed it, just because he knew it should be done and it would be easy for him to do it without adding to his estimate at all. My wife and I have full confidence that Mack's work will last forever, which is exactly how long we plan to stay in our house.

Mac did an excellent job.  Very thorough, timely and professional.  We would definitely hire him again for additional work.

Job went very well. Mack is a craftsman and very particular about his work. The job took about 5 days and I was very pleased with the results. I also thought that the price was reasonable given the amount of work done.

Only caveat is that Mack stays busy with jobs so be sure to contact him well in advance (at least a month) when attempting to schedule a job.

Mack was amazing.  Not only is he extremely good at what he does, he is also so kind and easy going.  I had someone else come over initially to provide me with an estimate.  That person told me the tile could not be fixed because it is a small tile and will immediately break in the same spot.  I already had an appointment scheduled with Mack, and I'm glad I kept it.  Mack said he could absolutely fix it, and he did.  I ended up having damage to the floor underneath the tile and Mack fixed that at no additional cost.  He fixed the damaged tile and loose tiles around it and painted it so the tile doesn't even appear to be damaged.  Mack said the tile is as good as new and will not break.  It has been nearly three weeks of using that bathroom on a daily basis, and no damage so far - the work done was excellent.  Mack also fixed other tiles in the bathroom that were damaged and/or had completely fallen off the walls/floors.  Mack also caulked my tub and other areas of my bathroom AND he showed me how to easily clean the white grout that had turned brown from years of not being cleaned.  Now thanks to Mack my my bathroom looks brand new!

Mack was punctual, professional and a great craftsman. There is a wait for his services, which he was completely upfront about. When he actually started the job, he was there without interruption and did terrific work. He was a pleasure to work with and I would hire him again in a minute.

Mack Adams is the most reliable and professional and trustworthy
contractor we have ever worked with.  After discovering that the tiles
in our shower stall were not installed correctly, we had to find someone
to fix them so the entire shower would not have to be replaced due to
damage.  We got several quotes and chose Mr. Adams because he seemed to
really know what he was talking about and really appreciated our desire
to stay within the confines of our budget.  He arrived when he said he
would arrive.  He was honest about his pricing--he quoted us according
to the job and not the hours, thus eliminating any "surprise" charges. 
And he was extremely pleasant and thoughtful and conscientious.  Mr.
Adams also came back when I had a question about some grout because he
wanted to make sure he understood the question and that we were
completely satisfied with his workmanship.  We were extremely pleased
with the whole experience and Mr. Adam's workmanship.  I highly
recommend  him, and I wish there were more like him!
