They removed the affected tree and then sprayed. It went well. No more borers.

They found one tree had started to split and suggested cabling it. They identified some small trees that weren't doing well, which they recommended removing. They quoted the minimum price for a job. When they returned to do the work, they did a good job and cleaned up. I assumed they would trim all of the dead branches from some cedar trees, but they only went up about 10 feet. In the spring I will probably have them come back to remove a large tree.

With all the storms, they were backed up. Fortunately, I was not in a hurry. They worked very hard in 90 plus heat and left the yard clean as can be.

Action Arborists came out and checked the tree. At first I was told that I had Ambrosia beetles and it needed to be sprayed. They sprayed but the tree did not improve. Then, I was given a second diagnosis and was told the tree had wood borers and needed to come down so other trees were not affected. I had them take the tree down and they sprayed all the other trees on the property.

"We want to thank you again for the opportunity to care for your trees. Unfortunately, we could not save the Maple in the front yard. By the time we looked at it, it was already heavily infested by multiple species of boring insects and in a state of decline. We did treat the tree with a product that is effective for both ambrosia beetles as well as redheaded ash borer but the damage was already done. We did not charge for the treatment (credited the money spent on treatment toward the removal) and actually gave a discount on the preventative treatment on the remaining trees in the yard. We hope they are continuing to do well and look forward to working with you again in the future."

Great! Drew is dependable,knowledgeable, courteous -- professional. He respects the property and the trees which was a hit with us! The trees are doing great -- esp. the ones he aided with special nutrients. They were very puny before and now they are much fuller and green.

We have been extremely pleased with the work of this company. The owner is very prompt and reliable. Communication concerning the needs of our trees, estimates, and arrival and departure times was very clear. Following the removal of the trees, it was hard to tell that the work had even been completed, other than the trees being gone. The yard, the driveway and surrounding areas were left spotless. Mr.Harrison is very knowledgeable about trees and their needs!! We have used this company more than once, and we will continue to work with them as other needs arise!

It is a 2 man team, and they do all the work themselves. They are careful with how they take down the limbs, and they clean up so well you would not even know they had been here. One of the workers just became a certified arborist. They also take safety measures such as wearing helmets.
