ACCESS HANDYMAN

I have used Richard Gibbs of Access Handyman for years. They are top notch at what they do. He is honest and easy to work with - one of those people you can leave alone in the house and have NO WORRIES. My wife and I trust him, and he will be the first to tell you if the project is out of his wheel house....which by the way does not happen often at all! The Shiplap he recently installed is the showpiece of our living room!! I have gladly referred Richard and his team to all of my friends and colleagues.

Richard explained what would be involved in replacing the two faucets and gave me a fair estimate in advance.  He then arrived on the appointed day prepared to do the work.  To get to the pipe for the front exterior faucet, Richard had to cut a hole in the drywall in the living room.   He suggested that a cover be installed in the living room wall so that any future access to this pipe won't require another cut.  After painting this cover, it blends into the wall and since it is behind the sofa is not noticeable.
 He had to move the dishwasher to get to the pipe for the rear exterior faucet.  After replacing this rear faucet, he basically had to reinstall the dishwasher and it is better now than it was before --  it runs much quieter.
Installing the light fixture was an 'add on' and he was very nice to take on this work in addition to what we had originally discussed.
I was very happy with Richard's work and will definitely hire him again in the future for other work.

Did a great job

I was attempting to install a row of base kitchen cabinets and countertop in my basement for the wet bar area. I did pretty good until time to get the kick plate in. I called Richard at Access Handyman and he agreed to come help me out. He showed up on time and was very knowledgable and pleasant. He had all the right tools and knew how to use them. He was able to fix the baseboards and install the kick plate in an hour. I was so happy, that I asked him to stay for another hour and finish installing the doors and putting the hardware on. It looks great. He was careful and didn't make a mess and knew what he was doing. He does many kinds of handyman services and I will definitely use him again in the future.

Bumped into him at church and told him what I needed done. We set up a date and he came by that following friday. He got the work done within a day. The job was great, clean!!!

the roof in question belonged to my mother and father's house. many houses in the neighborhood were having their roofs done due to hail damage. one particular company had come into the neighborhood soliciting business. i decided to go to angies list to find a roofer. they did a good job and did good clean up of nails in the yard.

He was really nice. He did a great job.

He can cut molding properly. Painting skills OK. Drywall repair was horrendous. Don't even go there. Was on his phone headset constantly. Left before the job was through, but took the check I left. Came back a few days later, and sanded/painted over just terrible drywall repairs. I would never recommend him.

Job 1: Richard was on time, a pleasure to work with and reasonably priced. He quickly completed the work. I enjoy working with Richard. Job 2: Richard is absolutely great. He is thorough, does very high quality work, provides great advice, and is a really nice person. He had done some other work for us, and I was comfortable with him. The quality of this work was just as high.

Richard is a smart, nice, and careful worker whom I will call again when I need another job done.

He was honest about the work he could perform and suggested it would be in my best interest to contact a carpenter for some more complicated wood work. I was very pleased with the work he performed and have already scheduled an appointment for him to come back and do another project.
