A CLOCK ON WHEELS

Scott called me back and agreed to meet me near Panera Bread. He looked at clock and reattached screw and parts that were loose. Excellent fix and small charge. Love it!

The grandfather clock is running but the chimes are not working correctly. The cuckoo clock worked for about 3 minutes then stopped. I followed all his directions and do not want him to touch any more of my clocks. Wasted my money.

The owner Vivi had an opening and came to our house the very next day after I called. He was professional and very respectful of myself and our home. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed and serviced the clock. In addition (as this was our first time owning a manual grandfather clock), Vivi also fully demonstrated how the clock works and taught me how to properly wind and operate it. He also gave me some history of our clock which made us love it even more. It works perfectly now and is a centerpiece of our new home. In addition, Vivi also gave us a follow up call the next day to ensure the clock is still working and if we had any questions. This is a wonderful company and I would recommend them to everyone.

The wall clock required repair and the owner recommended that he take it back to his shop so he could assess if the clock kept good time over a week.  Additionally, he showed me why, over time, the Grandfather clock would require repair.  I was grateful for the education and the honesty.  He cleaned and oiled both clocks and I appreciated his professionalism.

Mr. Burlacu and his son performed great service.  The clock's chimes had slowly stopped working and then the pendulum would no longer start the timekeeping.  Vivi came to the house to pick up the clock and they made all of the necessary repairs and the delivered it back to our house.  
They were very friendly and professional and i would not hesitate to recommend them to others based on our experience.

The clock chime had stopped working. We were moving from one house to another. ACOW moved the clock professionally, fixed the problem, and did overdue maintenance service. ACOW removed weights, pendulum, and the clock mechanism before moving the clock case. They delivered the case to our new house. One week later, they delivered the mechanism after it had been serviced and set the clock up in its new location. Everything went smoothly. We were impressed with the obvious expertise of Vasile and his assistant.

I had 3 German clocks, 1 Grandfather, 1 wall clock and 1 mantel clock that all were in serious need of service (oil, cleaning, tuning).  One
of the weights on the Grandfather clock had broken and the winding mechanism was broken.  Vivi repaired the Grandfather clock that
afternoon and took the other clocks back to his shop for repair.  He returned them both in a couple of weeks and they have been running perfectly ever since!  I am definitely glad I found this provider!

Great experience!

My experience went very well. The staff was professional, friendly and knowledgeable in their field. The pricing was reasonable and I was very pleased with the outcome of the service. I would highly recommend this company to others.

Clock on Wheels has responded to my calls for help several times when my antique clock isn't working. He has picked
it up and took it back to his shop so he could monitor it and see what was wrong. Then he returned my calls a couple times when I called with things I couldn't figure out on keeping them running them and adjusting the time. He and his son have been prompt and cheerful every time.

I called Vivi and told him that I thought I heard a spring give way in my clock when I wound it for the last time. He explained that my options were either to repair or replace the movement. Since my clock was purchased in 1983 and had never been cleaned or repaired in that length of time, I opted to have the movement replaced. Prior to calling Vivi, I checked a few local clock repair shops and the price Vivi gave me was considerably lower than I had been quoted from others. I had been quoted $300 to repair and $500 to replace the movement. I actually found Vivi's business listed as a recommended clock service person for both Ridgeway and Howard Miller clocks so I felt some comfort in that. He told me if he were to repair the movement, there was no guarantee that something else might go out on the movement. Vivi asked me for the numbers imprinted on the movement and said he would call to place an order for the new movement. Within minutes he called me back to tell me what the price would be and he should receive it in about a week. A week later, he called me to schedule an appointment to repair my clock. The great thing is Vivi comes to your home to do the repair. You don't have to haul your clocks out to have them repaired or cleaned. While he was here I had three other clocks I asked him to look at to see if they needed anything. They were running fine, but had never been cleaned or repaired. He showed me a problem that may be forthcoming on my grandmother clock and I told him I would just wait for it to quit and then have him replace the movement in that as well. I am very interested in how things work, so I watched Vivi in action and felt confident that he knew what he was doing. He was also very good at explaining things when I asked questions. Vivi also gave me a one year warranty on the repair. I would definitely recommend A Clock on Wheels for your clock repair.
