We hired A-Access Lock & Key for a job in our property in Charlotte NC, and they delivered above and beyond. From start to finish, the experience was smooth and professional. Every request we had — including rekeying, lockbox installation, and interior/exterior photos — was completed just as we asked.
Steve kept us well-informed with great communication, and Teddy made sure everything was scheduled as quickly as possible. Payment was simple, and they were upfront about costs. We’re out of state, so having a reliable local vendor like this made all the difference.
We’ll absolutely work with them again and recommend them to anyone needing locksmith services in the area!

Contacted via Angi originally. Was able to come do same day rekey of 4 locks and replace one deadbolt. Took him under an hour, including cutting 2 extra keys. Friendly, helpful, efficient definitely recommend!

I was unable to lock my mahogany wood front doors. I was unable to get the deadbolt to correctly get into the strike plate. Thus, I had a unlocked front door. I called A-Access and Teddy came by the next morning to check the lock. The deadbolt was striking the top of the strike plate because the stationary door settled a bit. Teddy shaved the top edge of the strike plate and then the lock worked perfectly. I'm glad I called right away as I may have damaged the locking system by forcing the key to turn. Teddy is a very nice man and very professional.

I called a number of places on Angies and they told me they couldn't give me a time when they could get to me and that it would probably be at least 5 to 7 hours. When I called A=Acess Lock and Key, Teddy Poulos answered and expressed concern for my situation. He said he had a customer scheduled for lock work, but that he would call tem a see if the would mid a short delay. He called me back in 2 minutes and said he could be at my place in about 10-15 mi\inutes. He arrived in 10 and opened my locked door in about 90 seconds. He was very cuteous and professional and I was impressed with his customer oriented approach and the excellent job he did. If I ever need a locksmith again. I will definitely use him.

Ted himself called at around 10 am (I had messaged him through Angie's list the night before). I explained the situation, and that I had already bought a replacement lock that was re-keyed to fit the existing knob & deadbolt. Ted arrived around 10:30, got the old lock out and the new one installed quickly, and also tightened the knob on a nearby door before leaving. He had quoted me a price of $120 over the phone, but only charged $115.

Ted was very helpful. He walked me through the issue over the phone and saved me a $100 service call. Most folks would have came over and done the 30 second project to make the quick $100, but he was honest and generous enough to walk me through the troubleshooting over the phone.
