We hired him based upon a $300 quite to install attic stairs. Once onsite he said it would cost $450 to install the stairs. He did not use shims to install the stairs and installed them unevenly. we have a 2 cm gap leading up to our attic. Molding was installed around the opening but he did not measure the width available and had to cut around a built-in smoke detector. The work is still not to our satisfaction after a month of trying to get him to come back and finish and the work. We still have an attic stair that is not painted ready. We feel that we have been cheated and we will need to have the work done again.

This was not an easy job,, but Matt and his crew did very fine work and accomplished the job making it better than new. The price was very reasonable and the quality of the work was outstanding. I would definitely call Matt first, without hesitation, for any future project. Communication was also first rate. I would echo other reviews and note that if you are looking for someone you can trust and depend upon, you can't go wrong with Matt.
