The Original Mattress Factory

My husband and I needed a new mattress to replace the one we have had for 10 years. After researching the best mattresses through consumer reports, we decided to head over to the local Chapel Hill The Original Mattress Factory to see what they had to offer. We were impressed by the knowledge of Diana, the salesperson, and decided to purchase another California King to replace the one we thought we had. Since the mattresses were made to order, it was explained to us that there were no refunds but we were reasonably sure we had made the right purchase. The delivery date was quick and as the courteous delivery men wrapped up the old mattress and started putting in the new one. It was when the box springs were placed in the bed I became concerned. It seems for years we believed we had purchased a California King but in reality it was just a King and did not fit in our bed frame at all. Maurice noticed I looked concerned and decided to call the main office. I was promptly put on the phone with a manager who assured me they would not only take back the California King but deliver a new King Mattress within the week for no extra delivery charge. In fact, they even refunded the difference of the cost between sizes. Needless to say I will always recommend both the Chapel Hill Mattress Factory and the company itself. We have never had a better mattress and felt the price was extremely reasonable compared to the other stores. What a refreshing customer service experience!
