Our work with Mike Leper, his sons, and his crew was great! He was very thoughtful in his design and listened to our needs and wants for fulfilling neighborhood association requirements with regards to ours as well. First they installed a drainage system to move the flow of water further away from the house and the prospective landscaping. The landscaping is very "deer proof" which is essential where we live, and he has created alot of interest in the plants that he picked and where they are planted. All of the plants/trees are very healthy and fairly low maintenance which fits with our busy lifestyle. He designed a great transition into the meadow with some stone steps that blended into our patio and stone/stucco exterior. He came out several times to design his plan and marked it with symbols so he could explain it to us. He paid attention to plants that would give us some privacy while retaining our views. His crew was very professional and they all came and worked hard when he said they would be there. The project was finished on schedule and within budget and he followed up a couple of times to make sure the irrigation system was working and to do some extra watering. He also came after it was done to walk us through to explain everything that was planted and describe what to expect as the plantings mature and any maintenance required on our part. He also shared with us additional ideas he has for future landscaping. He was realistic and honest in proposing that the total landscaping for the house would happen over about a 5 year period and that this was "phase 1". We have had exceptional feedback from all who have seen it on the great work that he and his crew did! We look forward to working with him, his family and crew more in the future!
