Great service. Peter was there the day after I called him and got all the locks replaced. He had to replace some of the doorknobs. My only critique is I wish he had notified us before replacing the whole doorknob so we could have considered different options.

Mr. Gamble arrived a bit later than expected, but everything else about his visit was excellent. He is competent, friendly and accommodating. The quality of his work can;t be beat. Thanks to his work, we feel safe and secure.

I have mobility problems. When I told Pete that I felt trapped because I couldn't open my front door, he rearranged his schedule and was here in 90 minutes. He immediately figured out what was wrong and replaced my door knob with a door lever . In addition, he lubricated the dead bolt locks on my front and back doors, and reinstalled the dead bolt on the back door that a carpenter had put in upside down.

We were very grateful to Mr. Gamble for responding so quickly to our late afternoon call and coming the next morning. The lock on the door to our deck suddenly broke, leaving our home unsecured. He was able to come earlier than he expected and called to make sure that was OK. He went about his work efficiently and with professionalism and was pleasant to chat with. He gave us a two-year warranty on his service. I don't know how his prices compare with other locksmiths, not having gotten any other estimates. I was fully satisfied with his work and would certainly call him again.

Pete Gamble is the most wonderful person to deal with. I got a prompt answer to my email requesting service and he was at my house the next day. My front door lock was so messed up that it took several hours to fix - he even had to manufacture a new part on the spot. Wow! He is so knowledgable and professional that I'm sorry I can't give a grade higher than A for his work. He is the best!!!

Went very well. Pete called to say he was going to be a few minutes late--which was great and unexpected, based on other experiences with other providers. He did the job in the time estimated, and for the cost estimated. He also did a nice job of explaining why he provided certain keys, and the benefit of these keys.

I had a broken front lock and had a handyman look at it. He talked to me about buying a replacement handle kit and lots of other stuff. So I called Pete for a second opinion. When I told him what type of lock I had, he gave me great advice about calling the company that made the lock and getting free replacement parts from them. After the parts arrived, Pete was able to fix the lock correctly.
A less knowledgeable locksmith would probably have sold me a new inferior lock so I'm glad Pete knew what he was doing and didn't sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't need.
This was a few months ago so I may be off a bit on the price or date of service, but the work was definitely solid. I haven't had a problem with the lock since.

He was just outstanding. He met with me at my convenience. He did exactly what I wanted to do and what I asked him to do. He gave me some free keys and made sure I was totally satisfied. He even trusted me to send him a check later. He was so understanding and easy to relate to. I just needed to have it re-keyed for a new owner and new providers. He had very competitive pricing and I would give him a A+++++. I was very pleased with him.

This morning our kitchen door lock stuck in the locked position. The door was open which meant we could not close our door to the outside.
I called several locksmiths and left messages and that help was urgent. Only Pete returned my call. He arrived within an hour and not only fixed our problem lock,but assessed our other locks and made needed adjustments.
We were very pleased with the service. Pete was friendly,professional,and educational regarding the cause of our problem.

I contacted Peter once and was able to make an appointment for the next day. My husband and I were very anxious about the work as the antique cabinet has a lot of sentimental value to us. Peter showed skills and patience trying various methods to open the stuck door. He truly understood how important the cabinet was to us and did everything not to cause the slightest damage to it. Needless to say, Peter was successful and we were very grateful.

Peter was curtious, punctual and was able to describe the work he was doing; making sure we were getting what we wanted but not paying for unecessary steps. He was available in short notice and able to work around our schedules. I would highly recommend him, hard to come by such a combination of professionalism, honesty and integrity yet remaining budget conscious.

Took a couple of days to schedule him.He came and did the work and it wasn't fixed.Made a key that didn't work at first.Had to rework the key.Chatted all the while of music he performs and gave me a cd of his band!

"Member...First of all i apologize for any bad feelings you have. At our original meeting we agreed, since you were selling the house, to keep the cost down as much as possible and repair rather than replace locks. I was a bit hesitant but offered, and gave, you a full warranty on all the work until you sold the house. I do not keep records of of jobs that i do not bill for but, if memory serves me correctly, and i may be wrong, one of the call backs was for a problem not related to the original call and the other was indeed a mistake i had made. Both times the problem was fixed and the no charge warranty was applied. I also apologize if i talked too much, you seem like a very nice person and i thought you were enjoying the conversation and would also enjoy the music of my band which is why i gave you a $15 CD for free. I also recall coming almost immediately the second time you called back...months after the original work had been done. But the main thing is, I am sorry you feel so unhappy with my service and will offer you a free $125 service/travel charge should you ever change your mind and choose to use my services again.
